Tensions spilled over at about 3pm as police used tear gas and water cannon, and the migrants responded by throwing rocks and house bricks.
Sky News' Colin Brazier, reporting from the scene, said tempers had been flaring for several hours, with refugees left at the fence without food, water and information.

That is why these people are moving on. And why not, in their position I would be aiming for the best country possible.
