It is the working classes who are most hurt by us being in eu...

A number of rich people want to stay in the eu and are dragging some less well informed with them...

If we leavev the EU, two things happen. Food imports from Europe become more expensive, and farmers lose EU subsidies, which they'll make up for by increasing prices on their goods. Food prices go up; everyone loses out.

I have the shooting rights on 7 Farms, without exception all Farmers want to leave because the rules and red tape that the EU FORCE ON THEM make farming in this country much more difficult and expensive. We pay to shore up French farmers who sit on their arses all day and cream off OUR money.

Well luckily that isn't your choice Syl. It's stillour country and we will/might come back some day- and do have families and interests in the UK.

Those Brits who live in EU countries should certainly have a say.

But if you want to DQ those Brits living abroad would you likewisw allow Europeans living in the UK to vote?

^nicko the NFU supports remaining. And this article comes from the Express, an anti-EU paper so not biased against leaving. It also addresses those real concerns on tariffs and subsidies.

Part of the problem is that we haven't had any choice so far as to what the EU now is/has become and how it has been grabbing more and more power and control year on year since 1973/5...

All the promises that it wasn't and all the new treaties didn't mean anything over the years etc.... and now we have almost been taken over completely!!!

Nobody ever voted FOR what it is now!

And nobody wants it!!!

Not just us but people all over Europe have had their democracy stolen!!!

Also... just heard a Polish lorry driver on Victoria Derbyshire saying there are too many people coming here that his wages are going down and he's expected to work for £8 an hour and it's not enough to pay mortgage and live etc!!!

Now he knows how we feel!!

It may not be my choice but it's my opinion. Smile
I think everyone who lives in the UK should be entitled to vote. People who have emigrated should not have that right.
They should however have the vote in the country they now reside in.

Little England, veya.

I think if one becomes a citizen of the nation they reside in they should get the vote automatically. And retain the vote of their home nation forever.

What our friends are saying is that even a pensioner (even a war veteran, they usually love those guys!) who has retired abroad should not be entitled to vote if they are lucky enough to still be able to.

It is our country. In 15 years it still will be. But the law chooses to discriminate. Little Englanders have their way sometimes Wink

if you do make the effort to maintain dual citizenship then you should be able to vote, you have made more effott to remain british than them, they merely had nowhere else to go.

Wages for British workers will rise in the event of a Brexit, head of 'in' campaign, Lord Rose say
Lord Rose, the head of the campaign to keep Britain in the European Union, suggests that wages of low skilled workers could rise in the event of a Brexit

Wages will rise if Britain votes to leave the European Union and the number of EU migrants coming to the UK falls, the head of the “in” campaign has admitted.

Lord Rose, the former head of Marks & Spencer who is leading the Britain Stronger in Europe campaign, told MPs on Wednesday that if a British exit leads to restrictions on EU migrants, then “the price of labour will, frankly, go up!"

He also suggested, in an appearance before the Treasury select committee, that the “cost” of Britain remaining in the EU will be continued “one-way traffic” of EU migrants for up to a decade.

Steve Baker, a Conservative member of the committee who is campaigning for an “out” vote, said: “There was an absolute admission that a vote to remain is a vote to continue a migration policy which discriminates in favour of EU citizens at the expense of lower paid workers. By giving a straight answer to a straight question, more often than not Lord Rose has helped make the case for the 'leave’ campaign.”

In the last 10-12 years... for me... the cost of renting a home has doubled... other costs of living have risen... but my daily wage rate is still the same now as it was 10-12 years ago!!!

Congestion on roads is worse... public transport is now jam packed having become increasingly busy and uncomfortable as well as becoming much more expensive... it is harder to get doctors appointments etc... queues in supermarkets and elsewhere are increasingly larger making general everyday tasks much more difficult and time consuming...!

Standard of life and quality of life has diminished significantly for me because of this... and I am much worse off financially...!!!

All a direct result of mass immigration!!!

Voting to remain in eu means voting for even more of the same!!!

Vote out!!!
