Europe gets 8,000 refugees daily - UN

A daily flow of about 8,000 refugees to Europe is likely to continue, the United Nations warns.

The figure came from UN regional coordinator for refugees, Amin Awad, in comments quoted by Reuters news agency.

More than 5,000 refugees - many from Syria or Iraq - arrive daily in Greece.

That flow could continue during the winter if the weather remains good and the borders open, the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) told the BBC.

About half a million migrants - mostly from Syria and other conflict zones in the Middle East and Africa - have arrived in Europe this year.

The United Kingdom has chosen to allow rape of an “Asian” girl to be sanctioned more severely than a similar crime committed against a white girl.

As noted previously, British authorities frequently use “Asian” as a synonym for “Muslim,” as in a government report of sex-grooming in Rotherham. The report describes perpetrators of this scandal as “Asian” and sometimes “Pakistani,” but it is clear that many of the perpetrators are Muslim because the response refers to training packages for Muslim community leaders.

Authorities ignored the situation for 16 years, partly because of their contempt for the victims – underage “white” girls – and partly out of fear that they would be branded as “racist” (read, “Islamophobic”) for prosecuting the perpetrators.

On September 10, 2015, an appeals court agreed with a sentencing judge’s decision to impose a longer sentence on Jamal Muhammed Raheem Ul Nasir for sexually assaulting two underage “Asian” girls (at least one of whom was under age 13) because his victims allegedly suffered more than white girls would.

A little perspective. Studies of how the death penalty is applied in the United States have suggested that it is imposed in a racially biased manner, based on the race of the victim (as distinct from bias based on race of perpetrator); crimes against white people are more likely to result in the death penalty than crimes against black people. When slavery was legal in the United States, murder of a white person was legally sanctioned more severely than murder of a black person. The heavier penalty was a way of treating the crime against a white person as inherently more serious than a similar crime against a black person. There was a logic behind it.

‘Integration Has Failed’: Danes Changing Laws to Exclude Foreigners From Citizenship

The immigration ministry will be one of the most legislatively busy in Denmark this parliament, with 17 legal changes put forward to make it tougher for foreigners to get citizenship.

While many of the new laws proposed may seem harsh, they have been formulated with the best interests of the nation at heart. Heavy emphasis is now placed on the ability of foreigners to integrate and contribute in Danish society, giving hope to fellow Europeans but casting doubt on the status of the hundreds of thousands of migrants and refugees moving up through Europe from Africa and the East.

Speaking at the opening of parliament in Copenhagen yesterday, Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen outlined how up until this point, integration had been allowed to utterly fail in Denmark. He told the chamber: “We need to speak openly about the fact that there is a difference between being a refugee and being an economic migrant. We can never cope with a mass migration that is borne upon the desire for a better life, regardless of how understandable that desire is”.

“Thus far, integration has failed. Of all the immigrants from non-Western countries, not even a half are employed. Even though many have been here for 10, 20 or 30 years. It is deeply worrying”.

England’s Green And Pleasant Land Under Threat As Migrants Increase Housing Demand

Our green and pleasant land is being concreted over due to the relentless, though thoroughly predictable demand for housing. As a councillor I see applications come in weekly for the destruction of green field sites around Lincolnshire. The most recent being 600 homes around the Wolds town of Spilsby. This is in addition to 200 homes around the village of Sibsey.

I am sure none of these towns or villages mean a lot to those outside the area, but there are many places like them all over England being ruined by new housing. Rural communities built up over generations with minor amendments along the way to ensure the appearance and identity of the villages are being swamped and destroyed by disproportionately large housing developments.

Whilst I was a Surrey County Councillor, some years ago I could see the same thing happening there. The Green Belt around the M25 was being threatened again and again with housing applications. The boundaries were being eaten away with thousands of homes replacing the undulating green of the Surrey hills.

As we know there are many brown field sites which could be built on and there is supposed to be a presumption of using these. Developers however, make far more profit from building on green sites and of course the building industry spend millions lobbying the government and local councils. Even so, brown field sites are finite, and eventually even if the developers were to use them, they would run out, such is the demand for housing.

If there was not such a high housing demand, then the developers would have no reason to destroy our countryside. Maybe it would not be so bad if the need was from local people, but this is not the case.

Where did you read about that, about Sweden?

He misleading you as for one Sweden counts every single sexual abuse, so if one rapist commits several rapes on one individual say like marital rape, this would be counted serveral times, where as in most countries its counted a one.

The Oslo Police District has given a report of rapes in Oslo in 2010. The report shows that for all types of rape, except assault rape, European perpetrators are in the majority, and they are mostly Norwegian. Assault rapes covers only five identified unique person. These have all a foreign origin. The number is however, so low that it does not provide a basis for drawing conclusions with regard to country of origin. Two of them were very young (under 18) and two had severe psychiatric diagnoses and cannot be regarded as representative of their ethnic culture. It is highlighted in the report that generalizations like “Oslo’s rapists are foreigners”, which have been seen in media, are wrong. The report gives no statistics regarding religion of rapists.”

Forty years after the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the formerly homogenous Sweden into a multicultural country, violent crime has increased by 300% and rapes by 1,472%. Sweden is now number two on the list of rape countries, surpassed only by Lesotho in Southern Africa.

Significantly, the report does not touch on the background of the rapists. One should, however, keep in mind that in statistics, second-generation immigrants are counted as Swedes.

In an astounding number of cases, the Swedish courts have demonstrated sympathy for the rapists, and have acquitted suspects who have claimed that the girl wanted to have sex with six, seven or eight men.

The internet radio station Granskning Sverige called the mainstream newspapers Aftonposten and Expressen to ask why they had described the perpetrators as "Swedish men" when they actually were Somalis without Swedish citizenship. They were hugely offended when asked if they felt any responsibility to warn Swedish women to stay away from certain men. One journalist asked why that should be their responsibility.

Sweden has the highest rape rate in Europe, author Naomi Wolf said on the BBC's Newsnight programme recently. She was commenting on the case of Julian Assange, the Wikileaks founder who is fighting extradition from the UK to Sweden over rape and sexual assault allegations that he denies.

Is it true? Yes. The Swedish police recorded the highest number of offences - about 63 per 100,000 inhabitants - of any force in Europe, in 2010. The second-highest in the world.
This was three times higher than the number of cases in the same year in Sweden's next-door neighbour, Norway, and twice the rate in the United States and the UK. It was more than 30 times the number in India, which recorded about two offences per 100,000 people.
On the face of it, it would seem Sweden is a much more dangerous place than these other countries.
But that is a misconception, according to Klara Selin, a sociologist at the National Council for Crime Prevention in Stockholm. She says you cannot compare countries' records, because police procedures and legal definitions vary widely.
"In Sweden there has been this ambition explicitly to record every case of sexual violence separately, to make it visible in the statistics," she says.
"So, for instance, when a woman comes to the police and she says my husband or my fiance raped me almost every day during the last year, the police have to record each of these events, which might be more than 300 events. In many other countries it would just be one record - one victim, one type of crime, one record."
The thing is, the number of reported rapes has been going up in Sweden - it's almost trebled in just the last seven years. In 2003, about 2,200 offences were reported by the police, compared to nearly 6,000 in 2010.
So something's going on.
But Klara Selin says the statistics don't represent a major crime epidemic, rather a shift in attitudes. The public debate about this sort of crime in Sweden over the past two decades has had the effect of raising awareness, she says, and encouraging women to go to the police if they have been attacked.
The police have also made efforts to improve their handling of cases, she suggests, though she doesn't deny that there has been some real increase in the number of attacks taking place - a concern also outlined in an Amnesty International report in 2010.
"There might also be some increase in actual crime because of societal changes. Due to the internet, for example, it's much easier these days to meet somebody, just the same evening if you want to. Also, alcohol consumption has increased quite a lot during this period.
"But the major explanation is partly that people go to the police more often, but also the fact that in 2005 there has been reform in the sex crime legislation, which made the legal definition of rape much wider than before."

The change in law meant that cases where the victim was asleep or intoxicated are now included in the figures. Previously they'd been recorded as another category of crime.
So an on-the-face-of-it international comparison of rape statistics can be misleading.
Botswana has the highest rate of recorded attacks - 92.9 per 100,000 people - but a total of 63 countries don't submit any statistics, including South Africa, where a survey three years ago showed that one in four men questioned admitted to rape.
In 2010, an Amnesty International report highlighted that sexual violence happens in every single country, and yet the official figures show that some countries like Hong Kong and Mongolia have zero cases reported.
Evidently, women in some countries are much less likely to report an attack than in others and are much less likely to have their complaint recorded.
UN statistician Enrico Bisogno says surveys suggest that as few as one in 10 cases are ever reported to the police, in many countries.
"We often present the situation as kind of an iceberg where really what we can see is just the tip while the rest is below the sea level. It remains below the radar of the law enforcement agencies," he says.
Naomi Wolf has also written that Sweden has the lowest conviction rate in Europe.
She was relying on statistics from a nine-year-old report, which calculated percentage conviction rates based on the number of offences recorded by the police and the number of convictions. But this is a problematic way of analysing statistics, as several offences could be committed by one person.

The United Nations holds official statistics on the number of convictions for rape per 100,000 people and actually, by that measure, Sweden has the highest number of convictions per capita in Europe, bar Russia. In 2010, 3.7 convictions were achieved per 100,000 population.
Though it's still the case, as Wolf pointed out to the BBC, that women in Sweden report a high number of offences - and only a small number of rapists are punished.
So there's a lot that official statistics don't tell us. They certainly don't reveal the real number of rapes that happen in Sweden, or any other country. And they don't give a clear view of which countries have worse crime rates than others.
Rape is particularly complex, but you'd think it would be straightforward to analyse murder rates across different countries - just count up the dead bodies, and compare and contrast.
If only, says Enrico Bisogno. "For example, if I punch somebody and the person eventually dies, some countries can consider that as an intentional murder, others as a manslaughter. Or in some countries, dowry killings are coded separately because there is separate legislation."
What's more, a comparison of murder rates between developed and less developed countries may tell you as much about health as crime levels, according to Professor Chris Lewis, a criminologist from Portsmouth University in the UK.
The statistics are to some unknown degree complicated by the fact that you're more likely to survive an attack in a town where you're found quickly and taken to a hospital that's well-equipped.

Do you remember the case of Jill Saward though? The judge at the trial of her rapists said that her suffering was not so very great, and he gave them the same sentence for burglary as for the rape. She is a Christian, the daughter of a Vicar, and her faith had helped her cope.

It seems that the reaction of the victim determines the sentencing, rather than the intentions of the perpetrator.

thats because its being under-reported

there is an EU wide systamatic failure by police and authorities to deal with ethnic on white crime.

the case of the Muslim rape gangs is a prime example of how law enforcement agencies become a willing partner in what can only be described as a state sponsored rape curcuit, because they authorities would rather allow young white girls to be raped than to be accused of racism

OVERLOAD: 311,000 Working Age Migrants In Germany… Just 17,000 Now Have Work Permits

Fewer than one in 10 of the 311,000 working-age migrants in Germany have applied for work permits since the start of the year, the country’s Federal Employment Agency (BA) has revealed.

Since the beginning of 2015, just 17,401 migrants have received permits to work in Germany while a further 9,581 have been turned down. In all, a total of just 26,982 applications have been processed, N-TV reports.

As of August, there are 310,741 migrants and refugees of working age in Germany, with the federal government expecting up to 800,000 to arrive by the end of the year. Andrea Nahles, the country’s Labour Minister, has called on companies to provide paid internships for migrants, telling Süddeutsche Zeitung: “Firms should give hundreds of thousands of young people for six to 12 months a chance to get a taste of our labour market through introductory courses and internships.”

Europe risks importing an Islamic cultural crisis unless it carefully manages the challenges posed by European migration, according to a German-Turkish writer.

Zafer Senocak, born in Turkey but living in Germany since 1970 having moved there as a child, is a prominent commentator on German multiculturalism, cultural identity and the interaction of Turkish and German culture. Writing for Deutschlandradio Kultur, he set out his concerns about importing an Islamic cultural crisis as part of the wider migrant crisis in Europe.

Mr Senocak counsels against following the advice of those who recommend segregating migrants based on religion – a “travesty” in his view. Dividing people according to their faith, he argues, would mean lending credence to the causes of war which made people leave their own countries in the first place. He adds: “It would be a bad sign for the future. How should people be integrated into a foreign society, if they can just mix with themselves?”

The author urges that those coming to Europe seeking to import their battles rather than looking for “peace and quiet” should feel the full force of the law. He does not diminish the effort needed to allow people to settle in a free society without abandoning that which is sacred to them, warning that individuals are moulded by the countries they leave behind:

“They are nourished by the world they come from, from the culture of this world. From the violence in this culture. The intolerant interpretation of Islam has set parts of the world on fire. But Islam in Germany must not become an incendiary device. This is not an easy task, not a foregone conclusion.”

Mr Senocak contrasts religious freedom in Germany, “also the freedom of non-believers” which allows critical analysis of others’ beliefs, to that found in interpretations of Islam:

“In the Islamic world many countries retain the death penalty for those leaving the faith. It is also not possible to convert from Islam to another religion. As long this is so, and significant new interpretations of Islam do not change that, the people who believe in Islam, not just refugees, remain a risk for any free society.

“This has nothing to do with hostility to Islam or exaggerated fear of Islam. It is the logical consequence of a cultural crisis within the Islamic world, which can justifiably be denied access to Europe.”

Asylum seekers are driving a surge in violent crime in cities and towns across Germany. German authorities, however, are downplaying the lawlessness, apparently to avoid fueling anti-immigration sentiment.

A confidential police report leaked to a German newspaper reveals that a record-breaking 38,000 asylum seekers were accused of committing crimes in the country in 2014. Analysts believe this figure — which works out to more than 100 a day — is only the tip of the iceberg, as many crimes are either not resolved or not reported.

The current spike in crime — including rapes, sexual and physical assaults, stabbings, home invasions, robberies, burglaries and drug trafficking — comes amid a record-breaking influx of refugees from Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Western Balkans.

According to a classified document obtained by the German newspaper, Bild, the government now estimates that Germany will receive as many as 1.5 million asylum seekers in 2015, including 920,000 in the last quarter of 2015 alone. This figure is nearly double the previous estimate, from August, which was 800,000 for all of 2015. By comparison, Germany received 202,000 asylum seekers in all of 2014.

The document warns that with family reunifications, the actual number of asylum seekers could swell to more than seven million, based on the assumption that individuals whose applications are approved will bring between four and eight additional family members to Germany.

Separately, German authorities now estimate that at least 290,000 migrants and refugees have entered the country without being registered and whose whereabouts are unknown.

Smelly, butting in, you highlighted a good point on p.1. of this topic and one that I've been saying:

"German intelligence warned Tuesday that the number of Islamic extremists in the country had increased sharply in recent months and expressed serious concern that they were recruiting among refugees."

Extremists, especially IS, will take full advantage of being admitted into western countries, infiltrating the genuine refugees. Look out Britain and Europe!

BTW, is America taking any migrants?

I think it's doubtful. What on earth constitutes recruiting? There's no law against befriending. Is that what they mean by recruiting?

If you mean, can I ignore facts?...no, sometimes the smallest detail can make a huge difference.

All I'm doing is bringing to light the inconsistencies and games. People don't seem to realize that in a court case, truth is nothing...it's evidence that counts. When "authorities" bring in evidence, they almost always color it with adjectives. It isn't: he saw her; it's something like: he gave her a heinous look.

We always play games with words. "Terror" is a response of apprehension in the listener; but somehow it has become a person...and we don't know him, so we short-cut to Muslims. That's human nature.

So if two refugees are walking along, talking, why not call it "recruiting"? People in newspaper reports play the same game as in court. It's always in the adjectives. In actuality, adjectives mean nothing, yet we fall into the trap.

Yes, I know. I have lived in London and when I first wrote on Forumotion I habitually used British spelling. But when you are physically in the US, the program will insist on American spelling. When you're in the UK, it will insist on British spelling. So while you are seeing errors in the UK in my posts, and I'm seeing errors in America on your posts, we each are seeing our own posts as correct.

We follow along blindly with Forumotion's dictates. It's natural because we don't like seeing all these red lines indicating misspelled words. Besides, it is an American web site.

Yeah...it is different. I've been on many UK web sites, so I know the differences in appearances. The spelling is one of the first things you notice, because the copy screams with those red lines.

One of the reasons why I don't mind the flack, is that I know the real test is the impression left with the people viewing this. Not just members, but hundreds of others. Silence can be the most impactful argument.

Eds is making the point that some things are so silly that it colors the writer, not the person at whom it is directed. Remember when President Obama put down contender Mitt Romney, when the latter was making a huge gaff before millions on the 2012 debate? What did Obama saY? Simple, he said: "...carry on, governor," quietly skewering the man.

What do they say? Give him enough rope to hang himself.

Silence...most effective.

A 15-year-old has been arrested for screaming 'Allahu Akbar' and shooting his teacher with a BB gun after devising a plan to kill his literature tutor and die a martyr, it has been claimed.

A week after hatching his plan, the teenager brought a knife and airsoft gun and grenade to Oehmichen Technical School in the city of Chalons-en-Champagne, France.

He left his physics class to go and kill his literature teacher before changing his mind, returning and shooting his physics teacher with the BB gun.

GERMAN MIGRANTS SUE ASYLUM CENTRE FOR NOT GIVING THEM MONEY FAST ENOUGH

Twenty migrants have sued the Berlin State Office for Health and Social Affairs because they had to wait more than a week to register their asylum cases and receive welfare handouts. They are demanding instant payment.

Germany is struggling to cope with the 1.5 million migrants it expects to absorb this year and those arriving in Berlin often have to wait days if not weeks to be registered at asylum centres.

The group of twenty who have decided to sue claim they have had to wait more than a week. Their “urgent application” has been confirmed by a court spokesman, Die Welt reports.

The court spokesman said the plaintiffs were seeking to “put pressure on the authorities” by bringing the case, and the court would issue a ruling in the coming days. The spokesman said that the incident was just one of several similar legal cases brought by migrants over the past two weeks.

“We can do it!” proclaimed German Chancellor Angela Merkel in reference to the migrant influx at the beginning of September. However, just this morning, it was announced that the nation would be extending temporary border controls until the end of October, AFP reports.

The more than 30 Syrians who immigrated illegally to Sweden to seek asylum and who occupied a bus outside Östersund now sharpens the tone against the Swedish taxpayers.
- We are Arabs. We can't stay where it is this kind of weather, one of them explains to Swedish Radio.

The immigrants are unhappy because they have been moved from an Arab-dominated area in Malmö to Grytans asylum centre outside Östersund. Therefore, they refused to get off a bus they occupied since a few days ago.

One of the immigrants described the accommodation as isolated, and far from the "service" which he expected to receive in Sweden. He says he demands to stay in "Stockholm or Malmö," and when the SR-reporter points out that she lives in Østersund, he answered:

- Yes, but we are Arabs. We can't stay where it is this kind of weather.

The Migration Board, which has long been on its knees after the Reinfeldt government decided to invest several billion extra to greatly increase immigration to Sweden, says it has no other places to offer.

More and more Swedes are now asking if they really feel sorry for the "refugees" as it is often claimed in the immigration debate, given that they do not seem happy with all the help they receive - immigration policy costs the Swedish taxpayer hundreds of billions each year.

Sweden: Muslim “refugee” in court over ‘religiously motivated’ death threats at asylum shelter

A 26-year-old from Syria frightened the other persons at an asylum shelter. Police who got dispatched to the shelter met a weeping man who, because of his Christian faith, had been threatened for life. “I have fled the war in order to avoid this kind of threats”.

On Monday, a 26-year-old Syrians appear before the District Court in Kalmar. He came to Sweden as an asylum seeker in mid-September, and is now charged with religiously motivated death threats against other people at an asylum shelter.

In the hearings that followed emerged the image of the 26-year-old as an extremist who threatens and intimidates those who do not follow the “right faith”.

On September 22 Police were alerted to a call from an asylum shelter in Boda Glasbruk, just Northwest of Emmaboda in Småland, Southern Sweden. It turned out that a 26-year-old Syrian had issued death threats against other people at the residence and that the cause of this was the 26-year old’s fanatical religiosity.

The 26-year-old Syrian had been perceived as “very extreme” by other migrants at the shelter in his Sunni Muslim faith. He is reported to have demanded among other things that the other people on the shelter would change television channel if there were scantily clad women in any program, and he should have spoken admiringly of jihadists fighting IS in Syria. The 26-year-old was also heard to have confessed that he himself participated in combat in Syria.

The 26 year old’s threats were directed primarily against a Christian compatriot in the shelter. The 26-year-old stated, among other things, to have threatened to “cut the head of” their Christian compatriot, and to hurt his family in their home country. He had also been intimidating towards another Syrian, who is Muslim, who was a friend of the Christian Syrian. In addition, the 26-year-old have been heard pronouncing general threats, for example, that he would “kill anyone to be sent home to Syria”, and that he would “buy a large knife”, after which it “would become Jihad”.

The accused 26-year-old reportedly deny any criminal charges.

‘It Makes Me Very Sad’ Says Open Borders Activist Brutally Stabbed by Migrant Gang

A pro-migrant, open borders activist is reported to be “very sad” after being stabbed twice in the back by a gang of “Arabs” as he stood outside a pizzeria in Dresden, east Germany.

Twenty-nine year old ‘Julius G.’ involved himself in political activism while reading his degree in industrial engineering Technical University of Dresden. Now he may have fallen victim to his own politics, as the refugee advocate was attacked while waiting for friends in Dresden’s Neustadt, known as the city’s ‘left wing’, or ‘alternative’ quarter.

Germany’s Bild-Zeitung reports police were called to Pizza 5 on Alaunstraße on Saturday after a group of six to eight men jumped the student in the early hours and stabbed him twice in the back, leaving him in a serious condition. A police spokesman said: “Several police vans searched the surrounding area, unfortunately without success. According to witnesses, the attackers were said to be North Africans”.

West-German ‘Julius G.’ who has been a student in Dresden for five years told Bild: “I don’t know why I was attacked.

“I waited opposite the pizzeria for two friends who were buying something to eat after we had left the pub and were on our way home”.

The student didn’t think the motivation was robbery, as nothing was taken after the stabbing. Explaining he campaigned for the rights of refugees, he explained: “it makes me very sad that I was attacked by precisely this group”.
