Yeah, saw that pretty much right after I posted my dumb little comment ... but I think the "Wargames" axiom applies as well to golf as it does to thermonuclear war -- "the only winning move is not to play." ::D::

Turned out a pretty comfortable win in the end. Tom Watson appears to be getting some stick over the loss but his reputation is so great I doubt it will be tarnished very much.

He's a legend anyway.

yesterday I was dragged round a golf shop so Mr. C could buy a putter...no driver....some wedge thingummy on a stick cause junior stole his old one
