Where did I give any medical advice about the Coronavirus?
You still haven’t said.
Don’t worry, I know you can’t answer but will instead make posts about anything other than my question.
I will happily answer eddie
It comes in part of a question to you
Would you expose your own daughter to this virus, or provide her with a potential vaccine?
Hence I already know the answer to many of your points
Where have I given medical advice? Asked many times. Now I know you can’t answer. Because you haven’t.

I just disagreed with his point of view (not even vehemently!) so he made it into something else. It’s just anger and a real need to be right. It’s an ego thing.
Don’t worry, seen it before!

Like here for example

The flu is like that. Most people don’t die from the flu, it’s just a very severe cold with a fever. Only people with weak immune systems like the elderly or critically ill, ever really suffer from flu symptoms.
Pretty much why I won’t have the flu jab or give it to my kids.
To advise against the flu jab is sheer ignorance and you need to educate yourself in regards to the flu

Really?
You think opinions cannot also be advice?
Her comments woefully fail to understand the dangers of flu and even worse where she is not going to use a flu jab, based on all the wrong reasoning.
People can and do buy into this poor understanding and then others do the same

Thanks, Les, for pointing out Didge's sad attempt to get under mine and eddie's skin.
Wrong again. As I am not trying to get under Eddies skin
She simple is the last person I would take advice from in regards to medical matters
That does not make me like eddie any less. It simple means I think she is clueless in this regard
Saying people should not freak out when they will is also as about as dumb as it gets
It fails to understand the psychology of humans
Sop there was no sad attempt here, I am simple pointing out, I would rather seek advice from Jesus, than listen to Eddie in regards to medical matters
You too are the last person I would take medical advice from, Thorin.
An unknown poster on an insignificant forum. Nobody actually KNOWS whether you are qualified, apart from yourself.
I think I will stick to the advice of proven health professionals that I know, my GP, Chemist etc.

Not embarrassed at all. The fact that a vast number of people incorrectly think vaccines cause autism
Shows that there is plenty of gullible people out there
So frankly, if you want to defend Eddies clear ignorance here, when instead you should be rightly critical of her poor views. Shows exactly what is wrong with the mentality of people like yourself
So I will not stop or be made to feel I should by you

edds i've been offered flu jabs before and said no, i rarely get ill with anything; my eldest brother who is semi retired doctor has said if you're offered it fucking take it. i value his advice and this latest virus is NOT just an average flu at all edds.
it will spread everywhere and no amount of lockdowns or isolation or prevention is going to stop it

I reckon when you have clusters of extremely and abnormally high numbers of deaths within relatively small regions, it would pay to look for certain common traits that made those casualties so vulnerable.
For example : possible genetic links,
Age of casualties,
Availabilty of healthcare, if any,
Other common factors that made them more vulnerable ?
See where Italy's nationwide quarantine yesterday has effectively 'locked down' 25% of their population !

Almost half of those who have tested positive for coronavirus in Italy show “no or minimal symptoms”, new figures have revealed.
Data released by the country’s National Institute of Health (ISS) on Monday shows 45 per cent of patients do not exhibit anything more than mild symptoms.
One in ten people with the illness display no symptoms at all.
The data also reveals that 22 per cent of infections have been detected in people aged between 19 and 50.

Two things: one, the mortality rate of coronavirus cases from Italy rose from 2% to 3.4%; and two, age of vulnerability went lower. Add to that, the aggressive spread, which perhaps is another sign.

Most are mild cases, so the number closed will rise dramatically that have recovered
The mortality rate of Italy is around 5%. Which is still very high.
Though again this needs to be further broken down by age and in regards to whether someone has an underlining other health issue

Maybe Italy are just being more honest about the numbers... Where China maybe isn't...
If you look at all the closed cases, some 65,000 approx, the death rate is 6%...
However if you take China's figures out of the equation... The death rate is much higher.

There are two strains of this virus
China experts say they have identified 2 strains... The more aggressive one was found earliest and affected about 70%of cases but they say this strain has dropped off leaving only the less aggressive strain...
So... What has this got to do with Italy?
Isn't it more likely that Italy are just being more honest and open about the numbers of cases etc?

Your stats are in error or old, apart from the 39%
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/italy/
Also of the active cases, 90% are in a mild condition

I meant that the strain in Italy appears to be a mutation from the original in Wuhan.

Germany's Angela Merkel says that 70% of german population could get the virus... That would be 57,000,000 people...
If the death rate remains consistent at about 6% of cases reaching conclusion end up dying... Then that would mean about 3.5million people dying from virus there!

You truly are one mighty fuckwit, Tommy Monk...
Constant mutation within virus 'strains' is a trait of viruses; well known for decades -- except for the clueless arrogance of know-nothing idiotic high school dropouts such as your stupid doltish self..
With some viral 'strains' having new 'mutations' popping up every 25 to 30 minutes in some cases, new 'strains' can be emerging every few days or weeks; as seen with a 2nd strain of this Covid19..
This fast mutation rate is what makes it a longer and more complicated process to develop new virus vaccines and antivirals, when compared to antibiotics, bacteriocides and antivenenes.

Listen you wank stain... I am well aware of virus mutations... And I have read about 2 strains found in china... Nothing about a more aggressive strain in Italy...
Plus I have also read that experts have analyzed the virus for changes and that the changes in this virus are very slow so a mutation into anything more dangerous is a very low chance!
All I have asked for is for those making the claim that Italy has a different new strain is for them to provide a link as evidence of this
Now fuck off!!!
