No member should know unless the pm is to them, is someone saying different?

How does the 'who's on line' show if someone is doing a pm? It doesn't.

Some forums do show that. They don't show the PM of course or who the person is PMing.

Yeah on the stats page ADO would say for example...Sphinx sending PM, but the PM would not be revealed or anything like that!

I think I know what this thread is about.
I think FTL has seen a remark made by someone to someone else so therefore knows PM's were sent between people.
Like I said though; no point in telling someone they're being secret squirrel if you're going to say it in a secret squirrel way

Why doesn't she just come out and say what she thinks?

Re: The "PM" Underground.......
Is she suggesting that there is plotting going on via PM? That does happen sometimes on forums.

No I think it's a personal thing and FTL usually keeps herself to herself to be fair.

Re: The "PM" Underground.......
Who cares? If someone sends a PM to someone else it could be about something private and personal that they'd rather not share publicly.
I'm sure most people do it and I can't see how anyone else could tell that it's happening.
Nobody's business but their own.

I've just had a crumpet.
just been up to the village hall for their food stall thingy....had a bacon roll, a bacon and cheese slice thing AND half a plain scone with clotted cream and jam.....bought a shoulder of smoked ham that we will cook tomorrow and slice for sandwiches then freeze the rest for mum after we have gone and some lovely fresh baps for the sandwiches, a HUGE cauliflower, some home made sausages, 2 stilton and walnut scones for lunch today and the sister stocked up on jams, chutneys and marmalades to take home.
oh yeah had 2 crumpets last night with loads of butter and a few slices of cheddar - bootiful.

I seriously could have eaten the lot, but did not want to shame my mother in front of the old ladies in the village, and ran out of money as the sister had forgotten to bring her purse so i had to buy her ham and chutneys. There was a rather fetching frosted walnut layer cake. hmmmmm....they are open for another half hour..................

admin can read all pm's on forumotion sites, if they allowed anyone else to login as admin they would have the ability to read them to, or admin could make the info available by passing on the info to whomever..
