I'd forgotten I posted it! I'd had a drink and also started to feel unwell last night, so had a total mind block.
I tried to find a video of Veya's I was going to watch and can't locate that now, either!

INDEED ...but the prophylactics floating in the toilet water was the tell-tale-signs {remains of the party} that there had been some SERIOUS sexual activity while my husband and I were away!
My husband's take on all that; "well, at least they cleaned up - at least there wasn't any property damage - at least we KNOW that they were practicing 'Safe Sex' and we see the proof!"
Men, just have such a different slant on such things

Re: Say What Pleased You Today
I have had a small mouth ulcer or blister inside my lip for months....it comes, then it goes, a few days later it comes back. I mentioned it casually to the nurse when I went for a check up a couple of weeks ago, she advised me to see the Dr, I did, and he said he would rush through a hospital appointment for me, he actually mentioned the word cancer, something that hadn't even crossed my mind.
I waited less than 2 weeks....this morning I had an appointment with an oral consultant at the local hospital.
He read the Dr's notes...asked questions, had a good look, and the first thing he said after looking was...."well it's not cancer I can assure you of that"
Phew.....
That definitely made my day, plus the NHS were absolutely brilliant.
I'm sure there are many problems and people have genuine grievances, but sometimes it makes you so happy to live in a country where we have health care like this.

I second that. Why the RW'rs in this country do not want to keep their neighbors healthy is beyond me. I think they hate themselves first.

Electric recliners are ones that you press a button to move - think like electric car windows.
I think it's marvellous, let's face it, most of us would pay to see Phil in an electric chair!

I'm sure there must be some surplus electric chairs rotting away in a storeroom somewhere in the US that are not needed anymore. I'm not sure but I think they may have been recliners. Possibly pick up that one that sent Rocky to wherever he deserved to go in the movie Angels with Dirty Faces.
Do you think he was yella and did it for the lads?

Seriously, I got a call tonight from my brother who was in the pub in Dalkeith and he ended up sitting with an old boyhood pal of mine who I grew up with almost from the cradle right through school and everything else up until our teens when we both went our seperate ways out into the world. Next time I met him was when we bumped into each other in Newcastle when he was serving on HMS Tiger which was visiting the port and flying the flag. We had a great night then and I never saw him again until we met up again by chance at Tynecastle for a Hearts match and that was about 25 years ago. We were both big fans of Hearts. Anyway, he put him on the phone and we had a good long blether for about 15 minutes remembering all the great times we had together and we're going to meet up again soon and get bladdered.
So that pleased me today

I purchased one of these for my elderly mother - she called it her 'ejector chair' and I'll admit ...that the motor going up ward seemed very accelerated compared to the reverse motion when it was lowering to seated position and that annoyed her to no end!
But I wasn't sure that Elan had meant a assisted type chair or something in a sectional/loveseat type ...just was curious.

How on earth did you consolidate down everything you'd missed out on to just 15 minutes of telephone time; OMG, my ears and hands would have gone numb while trying to catch up on all of the lost time!
But how exciting to hear his voice - did he sound the same after all these years?

WOW ...had a FB friend send me this so I passed it along to my group of FB family &
friends and thought you all might like to join the 'mail the POOP' to Westboro campaign too.
It's been suggested that you use a plastic bag - freeze it - use a bubble wrapped
enclosed shipping envelope provided by the USPS {here in America, so as not to offend the USPS employees that have to handle the package} and recycle the dog doo-doo to those that are in need of it in the worst way!

What a good idea, don't think we can do it from the UK though, pretty sure there are post office rules against it lol

Well, as I've got friends that were on the FB original listing who work at the USPS ...it was there suggestion to put it in a plastic freezer bag {flatten it as much as possible} freeze it solid - buy a bubble wrapped self-sealer USPS envelope sized right - mail it off ASAP!
I'm about 4th day out from when this started making the rounds on FB soooooo, I'm thinking that there are a huge number of Florida stamped packages going to Westboro daily
This Group Of Vile Humans Building is right down the street from where my sister lived ...the USPS might have to use a special pick up truck just for that on specific daily delivery ...due to the quantity of mail
One can only 'HOPE' ...LOL
