A little reminder people
Free speech is for everyone not just those we agree with
And don't give me any old fanny about hate speech either
you lot wouldn't know hate speech if it bit your arse.

OMG do pipe down its utterly boring.
Not once have you actually been happy about this decision, so why is that?
You seem only concerned in further adding fuel to conflict here, so why is that also?
For someone with also a great friend in David who is homosexual I find it incredible you are not over the moon with this decision and instead bemoaning and defending those who hold bigotry views against homosexuality. So yeah post what you like but all I am seeing is you using this as means to continue a childish feud.

Nems defended me actually, and I don't have anything against gay marriage or gayness.
Away with you - go and start some more random, bigoted threads about religion, like you do all day, every day.

Well you're using this thread to argue because nobody seems to be taking the bait on your pathetic anti-religion threads at the moment. Still, they probably will later, and then you'll be a happy bunny again.

Re: Ireland's Gay Day
Also another contradiction from Rags:
Gayness
1. A nebulous, ill-defined term referring to the measure of one's homosexuality (male); composed of several markers including body shape, vocal inflections, hand movements, clothing.
2. Sarcastic term
Bigotry exposed again.

No you have been exposed for using a very poor way to define homosexuals.
Have you ever turned around to a homosexual and said this by any chance?
It is just to easy for me to expose not only your immaturity but your complete bigotry.

Well considering I am a Heterosexual, that falls flat and I am not afraid of Christianity.
I will speak out against the discrimination found within Pauline Christianity, which this religion is full of bigotry and its ironic that bigots try to defend the indefensible.

Did I say you couldn't post or make comments Nems? No, I simply commented on the fact you made an uncalled for smart ass remark. The problem with you and others is you think you are free to say whatever without anyone else having an opinion or at least being able to express it. Newsflash, freespeech works both ways.

You are the fascists and bigots!!!
1) You do not understand what fascism is, if anything you are more in tune with its ideals than any poster here.
2) You constantly abuse posters where no abuse has been offered to you like for example how you call posters like Sassy, rising scum showing up how much you are of a hypocrite.
3) Both left and right and against your bigotry of homosexuality, your issue is that you are from a bygone era, one not able to move along with the majority of society.
4) Damn right I will speak and counter against those posters who hold backward discriminating views. That you even end with an insult shows how much you constantly contradict yourself and why is this?
The same posters hold the same bitter views, unable to be happy in society because of one simple fact. They do not believe in equality

well now you ghastly old man
having a spot of bother with the dinosaurs ?
fortunately going the way of the rest of their kind one wonders why they get their tights in such a tangle over something they read in an out of date book of myths and legends......
I mean yes they can have their opinion...for what its worth
they can even state it
but they certainly dont like it being challenged....
I ask again...wtf is it to them
how on earth does giving a small scetion of the nations citizens the same rights as everyone else affect THEM?
are they being denied something by this...nope
is it costing them anything.....nope
is it "insulting them".....nope
so...whats the problem
all I see is a group of busy bodies wishing to impose their out of date, unsustainable and anti social views upon others...
Now personally I'd call that bullying
there are in this life a number of things I dont agree with, but which actually, beyond that, do not in any way affect me..so I dont even bother to add my opinion on those things since it is clearly irrelevant and would do no good, indeed were my opinion to become noted it would merely distress those with whom I disagree, with NO benefit to me except some mean minded form of schadenfreude.
that I would consider to be petty and generally mean and tiny minded.....
but hey ho
some folks just dont know when "fair does" or "live and let live" is the name of the game.
I feel sorry for them in a way, becasue it is these people (the petty miserable creatures of pointless censure)
who are damaged by their own actions, whos inners selves become bent and twisted by bitterness and hate...

Re: Ireland's Gay Day
without wishing to rain on anyone's parade, and it is a very good thing that ireland voted yes, the 76%ers seem to be keeping a low profile over the fact that only 37½% of the electorate voted yes, meaning 62½ did not vote for it.
of course 63% of the 60% who voted voted yes and that is good enough and a resounding victory which can be accepted by all. but my point is why can that victory be perfectly valid but the tory one not.
In my view people who do not vote, usually dont care and should not whine when they get something they dont want

having a spot of bother with the dinosaurs ?
fortunately going the way of the rest of their kind one wonders why they get their tights in such a tangle over something they read in an out of date book of myths and legends......
Who are "they"?
