Ireland's Gay Day
First topic message reminder :
Yes vote to equal marriage, Eurovision is on, apparently al rainbow over Cork, has to be officially the gayest day in Irish history.

Re: Ireland's Gay Day
Yes and The author of a book on supposed homosexual behaviourin animals actually admits that in most cases it doesn't involve sex at all!!!
Already had this argument before on here.
It's more a myth than any factual basis.
Plus If some humans with all their intellect can get confused then it is no surprise that some animals in other rare examples could be confused too...
Some animals eat their young... I suppose you think we should all be doing that too...!?
You can't get away from the fact that throughout nature, male And female coupling is The intended biological, normal and natural way of interaction.

Oh my, that did make me have a good chuckle.
Still waiting for you to refute the facts presented to you Tommy.
Lets start with love.
Also lets start with measures based on natural.

Some animals eat their young eh Tommy. So you don't think that everything 'natural' is right after all. LOL

Kobus kob (Uganda Kob)."Female kob perform oral sex on each other and even stroke each other's vulvas with their forelegs. They may exhibit urolagnia during sex, one female will urinate while the other sticks her nose in the stream."[1][15]

Re: Ireland's Gay Day
Male bonnet macaques, similar to the youthful ones pictured, "give each other hand-jobs and sometimes eat the resulting semen"[1] although using "hand-job" can be seen as overly anthropomorphic

So if that is your methodology, why are you escaping the fact homosexuality is found naturally within many animal specifics? Talk about another self defeating argument from Tommy.

Re: Ireland's Gay Day
And you can't get away from the fact that throughout nature it is NOT the only way that animals interact sexually. Poor Tommy Spunk, such a desperate little man, so full of hatred and bile for anything that doesn't conform to his Stepford Wives view on life.

might makes right is natures "intended" way.....
kill the weak is natures "intended" way
Not the best scenario really......
you still cling to some warped idea that somehow "nature" has intentions.....
it doesnt.....nature is impersonal, impassionate, and just is
whatever happens within nature is "natural"
whether we deem it acceptable to our society is entirely another matter

Re: Ireland's Gay Day
You are on one hand trying to justify a behaviour because of rare examples of some dumb animals doing similar but then also condemning the thought of humans doing some of the other things that other dumb animals might do...
I know you lefties like to have it both ways with your arguments but come on...
Homosexuality goes against the nature intended biological and mechanical design and purpose of our reproductive organs... even the basis of attraction is naturally designed to be between opposite sexes... this is seen throughout nature.
What a small minority of a small minority of some animals might do is not justification for anything.
If people want to indulge in deviant sexual practices with those of the same sex then that is up to them and I am against them being persecuted for it.
But I am fully entitled to my view that i don't think it is right, normal or natural.
What makes you think I should be persecuted by any homo Nazis for my view?
Male and female is natures intended design.
That is obvious to even the most stupid of idiots...

Re: Ireland's Gay Day
you are perfectly entitled to you simple minded opinions Tommy......
wrong though they are
(and I'm no lefty either)
however the fact is you speak out against these things...so in voicing your opinion expect to be challenged
the fact you cannot answer the challenges in any clear and logical manner would suggest that in fact your opinions are therfore founded on poor ideas and views....
perhaps you should review your opinions??

Jeez Vic, had goose for Christmas dinner a few years ago with black cherry and marsala wine sauce, it melted in your mouth and I had a years supply of dripping for the roast spuds!

Re: Ireland's Gay Day
I am equally entitled to challenge other peoples views... and I have heard no justification for them yet either...
I've already said many times... if two consenting same sex adults want to indulge in some deviant sexual behaviour behind closed doors then that is their business and I am not in the least bit interested... but I become involved when they and others try to tell me it is The same as and equal to a normal and natural male/female coupling... which it is certainly not!
And I reserve the right to believe what I want!

Eddie... simple answer... nothing!
Until they start trying to force everyone else to have to believe that homosexuality is normal, natural and right when others are (quite rightly) convinced that it isn't.

no one is trying to force that... they are just trying top force you to not be an asshole
No one is saying YOU have to get a gay marriage
it is natural because it occurs in nature..

both are natural, both occur in nature
you don't have a point YES heterosexuality is Natural .... so is homosexuality, one being natural does not meant the other cannot also be natural

instead of congratulating a huge step forward in the self awareness of a nation and its awarenes of its responsibility to ALL its citizens
they both would prefer the old repressive ideas of centuries ago.....
doubtless as a druide, (and thats NOT a typo) they would like me burned at the stake (which is what my fate would be given so called christian views) since as a druid I am, especially among wiccans, taken as a "leader witch".(wiccans "generally" consider druids to be "holy ones" or "wise ones")
all I can say is well done the people of RoI
If it has nothing to do with me or Tommy, it has nothing to do with you either.
I don't recall discussing any old repressive ideas. I don't think that discussing Eurovision counts, even though it is 60 years old.
Your bigotry against Christians is showing now - the list of anti-Christianity bigots on this forum is growing daily.
