It's the kind of thing which Quill says too Tommy. She just repeating the mantra that he and others in the US keep coming out with. I think it's good that she's been charged - that will send the message that people are equal here when it comes to this kind of thing, and that they can't claim any kind of defence based on their race, gender, or ethnicity.

I think she thought she'd get away with it on the grounds of her ethnicity.

Can minorities have racist attitudes toward the majority? Of course they can.

Can they institute systemic discrimination on the basis of race that is woven into the very fabric of society? No, they cannot.

Just because a black person in the U.S. has racist attitudes about me doesn't give him or her the ability to subject me to live in a society set up to favor blacks over whites. Whites do have the power to tilt the system in our favor, and we have done so.

Not about setting up society etc... it is about them being racist, which they of course can be, and guilty of racism when they are being racist... instead of thinking that they are allowed to be racist for whatever made up excuse...

The system here in UK and there in USA is set so that those who work hard and achieve good grades and qualifications and abide by the law etc can get on well... with those who continue to work hard get on even further... regardless of race etc...

Although these days there have been racist and sexist policies installed so as to favour certain people because of their race or gender... in favour of black/Asians and women!!!

All in the name of 'equality' mind!!!

Lefties, righties, why the titles? people can have views that each party have and are not left or right.

I personally do not recognise the word 'racist' as some can plain and simply detest, hate another person for any reason including their skin colour.

I do not care if I am called racist for standing up for my country as those who call me it are far far worse, either traitors, bleeding hearts, limp wristed or terrorists.

I am not too sure I have put this across as intended but the intelligent amongst you will work it out.

I did acknowledge that any ethnicity can be racist against any other, Tommy. And S. African whites seized control with violence and maintained it through brutality, so it's not really a good comparison.

White British people set themselves up as superior to blacks (slave trade), Asians (conquest of India) and Aboriginals in Australia. You can't deny the effects of that are still being felt all around the world.
