More than 2.3 million apply for World Cup tickets in FIRST DAY
The entire event will offer about 3.3 million tickets.Over 2.3million tickets for the 2014 World Cup have been requested in just 24 hours as FIFA prepares to control the huge demand from fans all over the world to get to Brazil.
The first phase of sales for next year's tournament opened on Tuesday and runs until October 10, and more than 400,000 different fans have asked for tickets.
