ATTACKS ON PALESTINAIANS IS A DAILY OCCURANCE
First topic message reminder :
Israel launches airstrikes on Gaza; forces kill teen in West Bank
Attacks by Israeli military and settlers reported overnight as rights groups appeal for restraint by both sides

by Renee Lewis
Israeli aircraft bombed dozens of sites in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian teenager during an arrest raid in the occupied West Bank, and violent settler attacks against Palestinians were reported overnight.
The violence came after Israel found the bodies of three Israeli teenagers in the West Bank after they went missing on June 12. Israeli settlers held their funerals Tuesday.
Israel has blamed Hamas for the three Israeli teens’ abduction, though it has not provided evidence to support that allegation. The Israeli military said it bombed 34 sites in Gaza, most of them belonging to Hamas. At least four Palestinians were seriously injured in the strikes, Palestinian website Maan News reported. Israel's military and armed groups in Gaza have increasingly traded fire in the past week.
In the West Bank, 16-year-old Yousouf Ibrahim was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers as they raided Jenin refugee camp.

Sexy, casting blame is never going to resolve this problem in the Middle East, more so when you have extremists on both sides, Hamas and the Zionists, only when the people of Israel and Palestine have had enough and seek each other out for peace and reconciliation, will you see finally a turning point for the better of both sets of people.
Smelly argues against Palestine, you argue against Israel, the same that has happened with many people for decades, with no side resolving anything, so these debates also resolve nothing because until the problem of Hamas and the Zionists are resolved all such arguments do is create a divide between these people

Algeria may have lost their chances at winning the FIFA 2014 World Cup tournament (though they did better against Germany than anyone would expect), but the world is still keeping their eyes on them.
According to reports from the Daily Mail, Algeria plans on donating their $9 million in prize money to the poor in Gaza. According to their report, Islam Slimani told the media that when it comes to the money, “They need it more than us.”
Although some of the Algerian soccer team members are on to bigger and better things, including Slimani who currently plays for Sporting Lisbon but will be making a move to a new team later this summer, giving up the millions in prize money will be tough for some of the players on smaller teams and clubs.
While some people are ecstatic about the donation (all of which are, naturally, pro-Palestinian), proclaiming the team to be "heroes", others are a bit more critical of the donation to the Palestinian territory. According to a report by The Independent, Algeria has come under criticism for bringing politics into the world cup, as the team is mostly seen as supportive of Palestinians, and not of Israel.
And rightfully so; World Cup should only be about the sport. Leave the politics at home.
During their return trip home, when they were paraded through the streets in celebration, it’s claimed that Palestinian flags were seen being draped around several members of the Algerian team.
The criticism comes in the wake of the kidnapping and murder of three innocent Israeli teenage boys. The Israeli government blames Hamas for their death and has since been sending troops to defend its border with Gaza while, according to The Independent, Israel was hit by a Palestinian airstrike this morning.

How many Millions have they spent to end the persecution of Christians in their own country or to even change the laws there to allow religious freedom?
Great they are helping others, but what about those in their own country who are persecuted?

For nearly 10 years (1991-99), the country of Algeria was plunged into a horrific civil war. The brutality was unimaginable as an estimated 60,000 to 200,000 people were killed. Ironically, few in the Western world were aware of what was happening until Cistercian monks living in northern Algeria were massacred in 1996. They had been offered protection by local political leaders but refused, claiming that they should not have security while the villagers around them lived in fear. When given the chance to leave the country secretly, the monks chose to remain among the people they were called to serve. They were kidnapped and later found, beheaded, in a common grave. My wife and I were planting a church in downtown Paris, France, at the time, and some of our closest friends were Algerian. So we saw and felt their anguish and concern for friends and family back home. Several young people from Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia became followers of Jesus and formed the backbone of our church planting work. I vividly recall querying them as to the state of the Christian church in North Africa. Their answers burned a deep hole in my heart and conscience – "There isn't really a church, just a tiny handful of believers, maybe a couple hundred at most." As the civil war in Algeria ended, we began to hear about conversions and profound spiritual experiences, especially among the Berber people from our Algerian friends whose family members were becoming Christ-followers. We heard of entire towns in the Atlas Mountains where one family after another became believers. This was all taking place during a fierce period of religious opposition to Christianity where the threat of persecution – and even death – lingered everywhere. This past summer, my wife and I travelled with Canadian Baptist Ministries' (CBM) global field staff, Mireille and Elie Haddad, to North Africa on a fact-finding assignment for CBM and the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS) in Beirut, Lebanon. - See more at: http://ethicsdaily.com/after-hardship-algerias-christian-churches-bloom-cms-21568#sthash.FOHipt0i.dpuf

I do know history Sexy, which does not excuse what happens today, thus what is being done to change the law which denies Christians to openly pray their faith?
No Churches are allowed to be built and what money is funded to protect them from the Islamic Salvation Front?

During our visit to Algeria, we asked Christian leaders about the future of the church in their country. They were optimistic and enthusiastic, sharing how the government has become increasingly tolerant of non-Islamic religious movements. But safety continues to be an ongoing concern and they asked us to pray that their children would not be deterred in their Christian journey by some neighbors who spit on them as they walk to school. Yet these leaders not only persevere, but also rejoice in their circumstances. "We pray that the persecution won't end because we fear that when it ends, so too will end the revival," one leader noted poignantly. Looking ahead, we at CBM strongly feel that this movement of God's Spirit in North Africa will help shape a new day for the global church. Great doors will open for Christian witness as new churches are planted, seminary students are trained, and followers of Jesus are emboldened in their witness. But we remain mindful that along with such blessings often come huge challenges – increased hostility by extremists, renewed oppression and persecution, and the threat of sectarianism and internal division within the church. - See more at: http://ethicsdaily.com/after-hardship-algerias-christian-churches-bloom-cms-21568#sthash.FOHipt0i.dpuf

Hence my point on two people arguing over who is right on Isral and Palestine, nobody wins and more people die, which has gone on for decades, showing people never learn and peace is not brought about that way, even after countless conflicts an wars

No Church has been built since 2008, Christians are still not allowed to pray outside and many have to in their own homes with many facing persecution. There is going to be elections this year, where the opposition are hardline extremist groups, this does not bode well for Algeria!
So I ask again, what is being done with millions to help Christians in Algeria?

Being optimistic is not meaning anything but a hope, as yet, they are still not allowed religious freedom, so show me the law that allows religious freedom in Algeria for Christians. The law prohibits public assembly for the purposes of practicing a faith other than Islam, so only a few churches exist.
They are also attacked by Islamic Salvation Front, so again how many millions is being placed to help their own people here and what is being done to allow religious Freedom in the law?
It is all well and good praising something if they help others but is meaningless if they do little for their own people.

Then the people need to do another good deed for people in their own country, so why cannot they raise money and even protect the Christians from such hate and persecution?
Even in your report it states how they are spat upon by people does it not?
But safety continues to be an ongoing concern and they asked us to pray that their children would not be deterred in their Christian journey by some neighbors who spit on them as they walk to school.

And as I said above its a government issue which should be dealt with.
People all over the world are being persecuted for what they believe in be it Muslims or Christians. Its not acceptable and should not be tolerated.

So can the people, they as seen can raise money for people in another country with persecution then surely they can do the same for their own people, which is my point. Surely they can also raise money and stand united with Christians against those who persecute them, just like in this country many people like myself and others stand against all extremists. They counter demonstrations of hate, they do many things to stop hate from all sides, so I fail to see why the same cannot be done there.
