The daily quiz.

I play it by myself daily, more for brain training than anything else.
I am pretty decent at it , but need a real opponent. When this place was. busy, there were often 6 or 7 players.
It is probably the only place on Newsfix that cannot descend into acrimony.
Set it as a favourite, on your laptop, pc , tablet or phone and play away..Just scored 10/10 general knowlege in 75 seconds.

I did it on my phone, which I have to zoom for each question..
But I'm surprised a few more aren't up for it.

I've been the sole player this year. Felt like being Robinson Crusoe. One game I forgot submit the answer until the morning. My time was 8hours and I STILL won. I KNEW I would win every game so there was no hurry.

It's the public who contribute questions to the quiz site - and in the showbiz genres I sometimes strongly suspect it's the artistes themselves or their agents offering those questions and getting free publicity for their songs & films, some of it pretty obscure. Crafty bleeders!!

Please join Jules, it's fun and not really that competitive. No prizes for winning,m. It is timed, so you lose points the slower you are, which stops you Googling the answer.

Sometimes the quiz generously gives you a free extra point by asking a question where the answer is : "All the options are correct" ..... You just tick that answer automatically without even bothering to read the other three options properly hahaha

So, I think I'll dip my toes into the forum quiz now. I've been waiting for the new month to start.
I might get rubbish scores to start with. But will improve gradually & steadily ………. & eventually become unstoppable!
Well that's the plan anyway.
(Hope a few others will join in?? It's just a bit of harmless fun innit? Beats rowing! I also hope Andy will return and participate, cos after all it's his idea. )

The quiz requires a communal PW which no current member can remember hence why it died a death. I consoled myself by joining another quiz at another site. So that's that.

Everything is sorted now. It's made me so happy. You are very kind.
Within a week I'll be doing the NF quiz daily. I'll get mediocre scores at first, but i know i'll rapidly improve. Looking forward to the immense mental stimulation & daily acquisition of knowledge that 3 quizzes per day will bring!
I'm done with this thread now, it's served its purpose. Over & out. x
