Reminds me of a racial joke that was popular among when I was in school, we'd tease our Asian (proper East Asian, not freaking Pakistani, for Christ's sake) friends about how there were no stray dogs around their houses because they ate them all ... they'd call us "white shit" or "dirty white boys" (one of their favored terms for Mexicans) or whatever was apropos in response

I remember one kid from Laos who told me something that actually kind of stung -- he said, "I learn your language; you could never learn my language." And I had to admit, his broken English was probably better than my broken Lao could ever be ...
