my brother isn't obsessed with his "rights" because unlike your two pet gays he isn't a victim and hostage of his sexuality, he is the master of it

he doesn't allow it to hold him back and he doesn't use it to intimate others or advance himself unduly, everything he has is down to HIS own hard work, not his sexuality  

his partner is catholic and therefore doesn't want or agree to church marriage, my brother isn't religious and doesn't give a rats ass
