The general secretary of the PCS union has had his vote for labour leader rejected by labour
"...Mark Serwotka, the leader of one of the UK's biggest trade unions, has his vote in the Labour leadership election rejected..."
Labour said it would not comment on individual cases but said people "who don't share the aims or values of the labour party don't get a vote".

So much for the fairness and equality these cretins constantly spout on about eh...!!!???
More like a fascist dictatorship, where only the pre approved view is allowed!!!

Labour said it would not comment on individual cases but said people "who don't share the aims or values of the labour party don't get a vote".
So why do those who don't share the aims or values of the actual labour voters get to run it...!!!???
If anyone needed any more evidence of how the labour party are totally corrupt and undemocratic then here it is!!!
Beyond a joke!!!

Seems labour will only be allowing labour supporters to vote in the leadership if they are voting in the 'right' way for the pre approved 'winner' of this free and fair election process!!!

Re: The general secretary of the PCS union has had his vote for labour leader rejected by labour
Tommy, the PCS Union is not affiliated to the Labour Party and have funded candidates to stand aginst official Labour Party candidates. The PCS boss is not affiliated to the Labour Party either and tried to cast his vote via a membership he had with the GMB union which is a founding member of the Labour Party and has funded Labour candidates in elections who the PCS union would not necessarily support.
So it's easy to see why the Labour Party wouldn't accept his vote when he stands against them.
I'd be more interested in your views on those Tories who have tried to undermine the democratic process in this election by registering just to get a vote to try and rule out other candidates in favour of Corbyn.
It's been a mess I'll give you that and they should have closed applications for new members by any means other than by joining via their local Labour party.

You obviously know nothing about Mark Serwotka Tommy, I am livid at some of the things that are being done, but I would have ruled him out as well.

Do you think I should get to vote on who the next Tory Party leader should be or even who should lead UKIP? Should that just be for members of those parties or open to anyone irrespective of who they support?
Nothing to say on thoe who have attempted to undermine the result Tommy?
Who do you think will win then seeing as you are in the know?

Re: The general secretary of the PCS union has had his vote for labour leader rejected by labour
Tommy, he advised people to vote against Labour at the last election, he's not been in the Labour Party since the 1980s. I suggest you do your research before you mouth off.
Now, what do you think of the scumbag Conservatives (not many) who joined to vote for Corbyn, because they are probably feeling bloody stupid about now, people are flocking to him, he doesn't need their help. People queue round the block and the other night he had to cancel because the place he was going to speak at, which holds 2,500 was going to be overrun with those wishing to hear him and it might have been dangerous, so they had to rebook to a larger venue.

The article says his vote was rejected... if he is not a member of the labour party then how did he get a vote at all to be rejected?
And doesn't his union donate money to the labour party too...?

He had a legitimate position to obtain a vote.
Rejected because he chose the 'wrong' answer...
So much for the democratic labour party...

Rejected because of requesting people voted against Labour at the last election. Never mind Tommy, you will get your brain in gear one of these days, well, we can hope so.

Fair enough Tommy. You were busy and not one to run off to avoid questions and unlike some at least you are consistent so I take that back.
The PCS Union do not support the Labour Party and do not contribute funds to them from their political contributions which are donated by members. They are not wedded to any party and the PCS boss is not a member of the Labour Party.
He tried to cast a vote from an old membership that he had with the GMB union who fully support the Labour Party and are affiliated to them so it's a bit hypocrtical of him to try and cast a vote in a Labour Party election when he has no time for them.
You didn't offer up an opinion on those that have tried to undermine the leadership election by signing up just to get a vote and distort the result of genuine Labour Party supporters. Not very democratic is t? If you favour a democratic process you should be condemning that.

1. I never run off and am always more than willing to debate my opinions and views and justify my position.
2. I don't know much about this man, his union or his political affiliations... that is why I asked the questions.
3. Was that the only real reason for his vote being rejected or is it really because he chose the 'wrong' candidate...?
Has he been able to vote before on labour issues with no rejection?
How many others have had their votes rejected when voting Corbyn compared to rejections of other votes for other candidates?
Isn't it possible that he is a labour supporter but just feels that labour party overall are no longer representative of real labour so he and others support alternative candidates?
4. Not seen any real evidence of this claim... isn't it entirely likely that people have joined to vote for Corbyn because they at last feel that there is now someone there to actually support? Rather than the current drones who just keep spouting the same old discredited nonsense?
