Is flight MH370 in Diego Garcia? - Page 10 Empty Is flight MH370 in Diego Garcia?

Post by eddie Fri Apr 04, 2014 10:21 pm

First topic message reminder :

Malaysia Flight 370 has now been missing for 27 days, the March 8th date of disappearance drifting further and further away. This is particularly torturous and frustrating for those with family and loved ones aboard the missing Malaysia jet and has also led to wild speculation about what happened to Flight 370.

One of the passengers, Philip Wood, has been the focus of one of the more prominent alternative theories about the fate of Flight 370. While some see this as just another Flight 370 Conspiracy Theory, a text and picture reportedly from Philip Wood, have gained a lot of traction among bloggers, on Facebook, and around the web.

The story goes that Wood, a high level IBM executive who really was on Malaysia Flight 370, sent a text from his iPhone more than a week after Flight 370 disappeared. The text reportedly read:

“I have been held hostage by unknown military personnel after my flight was hijacked…I work for IBM and I have managed to hide my cellphone… I have been separated from the rest of the passengers and I am in a cell. My name is Philip Wood. I think I have been drugged as well and cannot think clearly.”

Along with the text came a photo which, even though just a blacked out image, had lots of information attached that iPhone photos automatically include when taken. GPS coordinates of the phone’s location were most interesting and placed it, and presumably Woods, at a U.S. Naval Base on an island called Diego Garcia in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

Others can join but they will be Easy jet..... mark my words  king

One or two may be Ryan Air. And they will have the advantage.

Only Ryan Air sounds the horn on a successful flight and all the passengers cheer..... VOD knows why I don't.

Irn Bru wrote:@Quill - this is in response to you rather lengthy reply earlier. Sorry it's so long but there was an awful lot to get through Laughing

Get real Quill because you are just becoming ridiculous now with all this nonsense that you are coming out with. We are on page 9 now of this thread and you need to look back and read again the post where you as much as thanked me for my contribution in trying to get the discussion back on track. Indeed you as much as thanked me by saying...

Finally, a non-whiner who wants to discuss the topic

But then you went and spoiled it all by saying....

and not someone who wants fabricate arguments out of grudges back in Speak Free.

Do you see now that it was actually you that decided to bring up all that stuff again and I merely suggested to you that what you had written was more than likely to provoke a reaction and fire it all up again rather than just get on with the discussion. You can read back all my contributions on this thread before that and you will not find anything from me that has done anything other than discuss the topic in hand.. You just went off like a roman candle when I pointed out that Sassy’s comparison between the Boeing and the Alaska flight was in relation to the effects resulting from an airliner diving into the sea nose first. It really is that simple.

What are you doing right now Irn, but trying to exacerbate the fire?  This is what I mean about your passive-aggresive style.  Even while you appear calm and rational, your purpose is to carry on the antagonism.  Look not at a person's words, but at his purposes.

You seem to have a difficult time with the fact that I do respect you.  Under ordinary circumstances (ie, unencumbered by some argument you must save sassy from) you have a quick and incisive mind, and usually some interesting facts or ideas to contribute.  So I welcome you to a debate--Finally, a non-whiner who wants to discuss the topic--but that quickly turns to disappointment when I realize halfway through the read, your sub rosa purpose is to further sassy's argument.

For the sake of discussion between us, because everyone else knows, sassy left the subject and started this argument when she abandoned a technical discussion and started in on ME...my background and then me personally.  That's where it all went wrong.  If you want to start there, I'll discuss it with you; if you don't, we'll know you are fabricating.

It has become well known you are the first mate of what I call the "sassy-posse."  People have remarked that the difference between you and me is you cannot stand up to sassy.  I have a more pragmatic view: you are an enabler.  This crazy bag-lady--with too much adrenaline and a deficit of intelligence--wanders these threads starting these fires, being unable to finish them.  You, the enabler, inevitably come along and try to extricate her from the trouble she has caused.

You are otherwise quite an interesting and nice guy--but your purpose will cause you big trouble.  In style, you have developed what I call a passive-aggressive approach.  Even above, you yet profess to having some technical discussion, when in fact your real purpose is put up enough smoke so you can drag sassy out of whatever predicament she has set herself in. Passive-aggressive...or, appearing to be what you are not.  And you do all of this to enable sassy, the one person who keeps dragging you into the affray.

Irn Bru wrote:Never mind  - moving on...

[Irrelevant, off-topic discussion deleted.]

Irn Bru wrote:Airliners don’t nose dive into the sea or the ground.

They do and you have been given evidence that they do.

That is not what I said...you are re-framing the discussion.  I said a Boeing aircraft, operating under auto-pilot is not going to suddenly pitch  45° and dive to the ocean; under the circumstances of Alaska Air MD-80, the defect it has will cause it to do just that.  (It was in this discussion that sassy fell apart.)  I mention this because re-framing is one of the tools you use in your passive-aggressive approach.

Irn Bru wrote:Irn Bru wrote:A Boeing airliner can glide to ground and land on the ocean floor in much the same way as the aircraft did on the Hudson with no-one at the controls

The comparison was with the MD-80.  Flight 1549 was a reference to a belly landing and how it is quite the opposite of the crash of Alaska Air Flight 261.

Makes no difference which aircraft it is. No airliner will glide down with no-one at the controls  and land on the the ocean in the same way the airliner came down on the Hudson

It makes a great deal of difference.  I am trying to give the reader a picture of two different flight characteristics.  The MD-80 can and will nose dive as Flight 261 did, a Boeing operating on auto-pilot will simply gilde, losing altitude until it bellies into water.

Irn Bru wrote:And I never suggested that you should go off and discuss my role as a mod with Ben in private. Do it anyway you want but just do it and see if you get my job.

And I’m not going to go asking Bee. LD or some guy named Fritz (whoever he is) for some character references for you because you’re quite capable of doing that yourself. I also don’t know what FF is – I always thought it was a Bra size for busty women ( . )( . )

And finally. You said..

I'm going to keep calling you on it, my friend--as long as you keep giving me the opportunity.  So don't think it will end here.

Well that’s really got me shakin’ in ma shoes Quill. The prospect of you calling in some favours from your old pals from when you were an FBI agent running informants throughout the USA has got me thinking that maybe I should install electric fencing round my home topped with barbed wire and getting down to PC World to buy some software to beef up my cyber protection from attacks and possibly also someone yelling at me through a loud hailer from a Balck Hawk helicopter whiring above my house telling me to come out with my hands up and I won’t be harmed. But there again my style of posting doesn’t really affect you does it? so maybe I've nothing to worry about after all Laughing

You are being childish, Irn.  The comment about the FBI was a joke, and not serious.  But again, I mention it as an example of how you avoid honest references, and re-frame past discussions.  I would hate to read your alleged book, Irn; an academic treatise that did this would be soundly criticised and rejected.

No Quill, I’m afraid you are one who is exacerbating the fire here by using this ridiculous "sassy-posse." nonsense and it’s obvious that it’s eating away at you to the extent that it will end up making you ill.
If you read back all my posts on here you will not find one where I even mention Sassy in anything that I have written up to the point where I said I hadn’t seen anything that she had said that compared the Boeing and the MD-80. And if you care to look back you will see that’s where you flew completely off the handle with an avalanche of personal comments, downright abuse even suggesting that I am lying and  I should resign as a mod.

Do you see now that you are coming out with all this stuff below and directing it at me when I only mentioned Sassy once in the way I have just described to you. I'll repeat what you said.

You’re really tearing yourself apart with this obsession you have and you really need to do something about it before you really do get ill

And it makes no difference which airliner it is. If there is no pilot at the controls and no power it will not hit the ground or land on the sea on its belly like the one did on the Hudson River.
Well I suppose it’s easy to say that the FBI comment was a joke but of course you would – wouldn’t you.
And you haven’t read my work which was actually published and of course it is really off topic just as you thought your service in flying US military aircraft was off topic so you deleted it.  You can’t have it both ways Quill.

Now try and stop all this nonsense before it ends up ranking as something that could easily be described as ‘Quillgate’

And we don’t have to leave the thread alone for a couple of days to right itself and get back on topic. With the right will it can be done right now so let’s do it. Here's a start

[Irrelevant, off-topic discussion deleted.]

It makes a great deal of difference.  I am trying to give the reader a picture of two different flight characteristics.  The MD-80 can and will nose dive as Flight 261 did, a Boeing operating on auto-pilot will simply gilde, losing altitude until it bellies into water.

Passive-aggressive...or, appearing to be what you are not.  And you do all of this to enable sassy, the one person who keeps dragging you into the affray.

Here's a start

http://news.uk.msn.com/world/sea-too-deep-for-jet-search-sub

He took it out?   Well obviously he realised even he couldn't get away with a lie like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And some people are stupid enough to carry on believing him.   Walter Mitty has got nothing on Quill.

Mini-sub aborts again in new setback for MH370 search

The hunt for a missing Malaysian plane suffered another setback Wednesday when a second seabed search by a mini-submarine was cut short due to "technical" troubles after the first also aborted in very deep water.

Australia's Joint Agency Coordination Centre (JACC) issued a brief statement which spoke of an unspecified "technical issue" with the unmanned Bluefin-21 sonar device.
The first mission which began Monday night aborted automatically after breaching the machine's maximum operating depth of 4,500 metres (15,000 feet).
But there was no explanation for what caused the interruption of the second mission, which began Tuesday night, or how long it lasted.
"The Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, Bluefin-21, was forced to resurface this morning to rectify a technical issue," JACC said.

It's not going to be easy but they need to press on in the search to establish what really happened to flight MH370.

This on Sky:

A mini-submarine tasked with finding wreckage from the missing Malaysia Airlines plane is on its second mission to the bottom of the Indian Ocean.

The US Navy's Bluefin-21 was recalled for a short while after developing a technical fault but was re-deployed after the issue was resolved.

While on the surface data it had gathered was downloaded and analysed, and no sign of flight MH370 was found.

At least they resolved it.

Who on earth ever said I was in the USAF?  Who on earth said I was ever attached to a US Embassy?  You see, you set up all these straw men and then claim to strike them down.  How convenient.  It shows the elaborate lengths people will go to in order to tell lies.  Funny, I have just been discussing the same thing with Irn Bru.

I worked for the US government, and they in turn gave me functional orders that allowed me to use military travel, officers clubs, and bachelor officer's quarters (BOQs).  It was the most convenient and inexpensive way for them to move me around.  Where do you get USAF; I had privileges anywhere, whether Army, Navy or Air Force.  And my portfolio was not the Middle East; it was the Middle East from Pakastan to Lebanon, North Africa from Egypt to Morocco, Europe from Turkey to Portugal and all of Scandinavia.

As for 'doctor,' sassy since you have never seen the inside of a school, I don't expect you to know, but a PhD gives you the title of doctor. So does a JD. So I have two doctorates, and have the title twice. And you know this because in your stalking, you have seen my doctoral dissertation. You checked into my account at Rutgers University.

God, the scripts you come up with. Such lies. This rather proves that you are going about all this to cause trouble, and you are the cause of all the discord on this site. Then Irn comes along and extricates you, and off you go to cause more trouble.

Why run, after trying to claim the last world? Are you afraid? I have no problem discussing this all civilly. Methinks my last post got just a bit too close to the truth, eh? You are covering for the many indiscretions of the bag-lady, and you have perfected your passive-aggressive style.

Go back to the last year of Speak Free, and you can see how I was warning you about gang behaviour on sites. I was warning Admin of SF that a gang was being formed by sassy. That gang I call the "sassy-posse," because posse is the name Bee and I gave to such gangs long ago. Lol. They all ride out when one of them is in need.

Look, I understand it to some extent . Y'all banded together over on Sky in order to protect and consolidate against the irrational conservatives over there. Sky itself closed its doors because it got too rough. I also understand that sassy was the loudest member, and became a bit of a pillar there.

But when you got to milder warters at ADO, y'all should have known to damp it down. That's when Bee and I came, and with y'all we pretty much flattened all the conservatives on ADO. We could out-think them. So there was no more need to be loud and abusive.

Somewhere in there we moved to Speak Free.

But then sassy, enjoying the success, wanted to continue on with her alpha-female shtick. She started in trying to pussy-whip me...BIG MISTAKE. Now, this led to the September, 2013 explosion among the mods on SF. Some reasonable people, who saw I had none of the Sky-reverence for any of it, asked themselves: why do we have to put up with this sassy shit? But she wanted dominance, and some other old Sky folks had let her get by with it too long. As Nems said, Irn, the difference between you and me is I don't take any of sassy's shit.

So, this war broke out, with the sassy-posse on one side, and those reasonable people simply trying to get along. The sassy posse are those who will take the pussy-whipping from sass, and will let her go on with her testosterone-like attempts to dominate.

Now, over here, we encounter more people from Sky, who have no idea what happened. And they are confronted with a choice, too. And poor Ben IS LIKE, WTF?!

Is that a pretty good community map, Irn Bru? I mean, let's lay it all out. You and the Sky people--with big help of Bee and me--laid waste to the conservatives on ADO. But you think you did it all alone. Or Sassy...christ, she just want's to dominate. She has a sick need to control. So now the rest of Sky knows the full story.

You can go on with your mealy-mouthed pissing and moaning Irn, or you can stand up and face me like a man. I'll always remember Aqua, who said: confrontation cleanses. I've done my part. I've laid it all out. Now, come back to me and try to justify sassy's little manipulations again.

I'm still here and I ain't running anywhere so don't be going and giving your mind a little treat. I was merely responding to all this nonsense that you have been droning on about for ages and it's got to the stage where it's cracking you up. It was an opportunity to do what you say you want to do and just debate. It's obvious now that you just want to continue fighting and coming out with this ridiculous stuff that is only in your head and nowhere else.
And I'll take no lectures from you who has some serious form over trying to expose a member on SF as someone they were not by publishing details on-line of a completely different person which included personal details of not just him but also his family and you have continued to try and justify doing it ever since.
It was the wrong person and you made a big mistake in even attempting to do that in the first place.

I remember seeing them in some C-47s when I flew MATS around Europe. Like this: followed by a picture of a US military aircraft.

Now reading that it's really not unreasonable to believe that you were saying you were. rather than you saying someone else was flying them around Europe with you in them.
And you must have been very young to have such a responsible position that the US military would go to all these lengths just to ferry you around because MATS was disbanded in 1966 and C-47s were withdrawn from service with them in 1965 - almost fifty years ago!!!
And was that before or after you toured Europe playing gigs with your band or working on a voluntary basis in the US embassy in the Lebanon.
You even remember Suez so I expect that must have come from one of your hops there under cover of your portfolio with the US army, navy and air force.
I honestly don't know how you managed to pack all that in as well as working as being a computer programmer straight out of school
You asked me on the other the other post to come back with something - will that do just for starters?

I've always found him polite, friendly, fair and sexy.

Ok, he paid me to say the last one. But the rest still stands.

Edit: good job I checked my post as I'd written "laid" instead of paid  Shocked

Thanks for that eddie - you're now in my cabin Laughing

Sorry I missed you out on the JD thread but as always it's the  Innovator's that miss out on all the credit.

Well let the kids take the credit, I already have a big head lol

No problem. You're a gent. And I seem to be hopping from cabin to cabin....?
What a Hussy!

My cabin is 5 star, has a free bar, waiter service, swimming pool and a water bed. The others are all cheapskates with only a 2 star rating . You stick with me eddie and tell Didge to kiss you're arse. Now that was funny Laughing

I echo most of that except he is a red head not fair, and he has paid me nothing.

Irn is a true Gentleman.
