First topic message reminder :

Hi all ,

I have known a few of you on here for a few years now and i have argued with most at some point, I just wonder can we all put the past behind us and get along , life is too short to keep bickering and it really isn't good for any of us , unless of course you enjoy a good argument lol 

I just think about how nice it would be without the threads being full of us all calling each other names and swearing at each other. 

We are all people from different back grounds and some different religions ,but we are all living on the same planet and is it really worth all the arguments we might not be here tomorrow we don't know what is around the corner not wanting to sound gloomy , but we don't know and i for one just want to be happy . 

I realized how wonderful life is today when my gorgeous little grandson walked in during tea time, my heart filled with love for him and i thought myself , wow life is so good .

Morning all. Dibs dear lady, I have tried on many occasions to debate with yourself and Gigatt, but it usually ends up as a diversionary tactic by yourselves. Someimes a bit of sarcasm comes in the reply, this is not condusive to an open, knowledgable debate, where we can all learn something from each other. It would seem that some of the members here get a buzz and an ego trip from being spitefull, shame really, as many forums are a place where people can chat to each other and perhaps break a boredom in an otherwise lonely life. I know a few elderly and disabled people who spend a lot of time on their pc, they don't want nastiness and bile, only someone to talk to.

diversionary, never... i do my best to try and keep to the point but sometimes it gets very hard to explain difficult concepts...

Ok Gigatt, I'll accept that, but surely being well up on Biblical matters you can present your case logically and explain, even in layman's terms, what is meant by various scriptures. The Bible isn't exactly a scientific textbook, is it.
