Grand National NewsFix Draw
First topic message reminder :
The Grand National is this Saturday and members here can enter by picking a number between 1 to 44 and you will be allocated the horse with that number. The numbers for each horse has been made up at random and to avoid any cheating the list of runners with the numbers has been lodged with the moderators.
It’s just a bit of fun and there will be a mystery prize for the member who picks the winner.
So make your choice

Thats a good idea. There is a children's hospice in Ipswich. My friends twins both died in there two weeks apart. I always try and support them. So if we win I'll give you the name and address.

I can't select a number and the other mods can't either because we know the horses that are related to the numbers.
To get round this why don't you select a number for me and you Saasy select a number for Ben?
Maybe eddie would select a number for Veya and SM could select one for Lurker.
What do you think?

Seems complicated, but maybe it the time of early morning and the wine being empty.
Suggest simple option......
To all that are with Sassy on this, and I am for one
Maybe £5 is sent to said charity from each personally, do we have to win to help others ? It can be more..........
Suggest Sassy Pms all or has a thread with full details, highlighted by Admin..... JD in neon as chief factotum, are you game xx love you btw that is worth at least a tenner in the pot.......

Ok Gerbs. Simple way is if I give everyone the name of the hospice. They put a £10 on the horse they have chosen if they want to join in. If they win, they send a donation to the hospice, which is The Treehouse Each, St Augustine's Gardens, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 8NS.

I meant the research for real bets - the only year I have not made profit in the last 11 or 12 was the year Mon Mome won it. OK last year it was only a couple of quid some years I have made nearly a hundred and most years I see about 20 to 30. However it does take research and I usually start it a couple of weeks before the race so late this year and might not see anything back.
