Except there actually is harm caused by incest in the birth of defective children. Regardless of people saying they wont have kids that is no guarantee so no the same arguments cannot be used as those with gay relationships.

Definitely not.

There is a huge problem with this in the Pakistani community - as somebody has already said, it causes birth defects.

Eizel, quite right, it's been answered but, if I may, just one last point. I've said in other topics that humans are animals, the only difference being our larger brains and all they've done for us. Therefore, in the animal kingdom, including birds, it is very rare for an animal to copulate with a member of its own family, (mate excluded of course). When the young are old enough and can fend for themselves they usually leave the herd, pack, flock etc, to find their own patch and a mate, thus ensuring healthy offspring.

Incest is unhealthy and yes of course, it should be/remain a punishable crime.
