of course it is and if that moron HF cant see the difference then I can only assume he needs to be handed the title of village idiot....
In fact CRETIN will do....back in the middle ages when the word first came about to describe those afflicted with "idiocy" it was (in norman french) le cretienne, meaning little christians, as they were considered to have been adopted by god. seems they might have been right there.....

and here is shown the true cretinism......
they are potentially hurting........society (and co-incidently any unfortunate offspring they may produce....) and if you cant see how and why then you need to read a basic biology book or two, then try thinking (I know thats an unusual activity for you ).

the implant does not guarantee 100%
would you enforce the "snip and implant" by law etc...?

if they made the decision so it would be acceptable, wouldn't that be fair...
we don't vet normal couples to see if they may pass on genetic defects so why should these individuals be singled out??
Guest- Guest
Re: should they legalise incest??
because the likeyhood of passing on or indeed CREATING a defect is something like 10,000 greater, for some of the more serious defects.
how would you enforce (effectively) a child free union...
its not a case of "their " decision.......there could be no choice about it....
It would have to be compulsarary sterilisation. and you dont want to open that door...because....???...can you guess why you dont want to go there????........
also on something you might understand a bit better....even in "godless" societies incest is generally considered "bad".......even if not for the increased defect risk It is a threat to social cohesion in a way that homosexuality never was or is.

Re: should they legalise incest??
I will give you a very good reason not to change the rules on incest, because we do actually allow first cousins to marry, which is seen as incest, but it is that the vast majority of offenders and victims of child sex crime are family members. You would thus be entertaining a platform where peadophiles could have the lessening of their sentence with incest no longer a crime, as no law would exist, thus would have no bearing on sentencing!

surely as human beings, who consent to love, they have the right to share that love how ever they please and we should be glad for them....
what ever the odds are on deformities they should be allowed to take that risk if they want..
if they volunteer for sterilisation then thats up to them..

if they are old enough to consent then it wouldn't be an offence and it would stop these poor people being victimised by others just because they do not agree with it...

only a bigoted fool would try to draw any comparison or equate the two...

HF, I was all for defending you on the natural alternatives to cancer threads, because I truly believe you believe in that.
This thread though, it's just trying to prove a point against gays, isn't it?

Incest was fine for Adam and Eve's kids so it has God's blessing. Go for it.

eddie the point he is making is that Ben and Lez are trying to force us to accept same sex marriages and the name calling has begun from Ben because he is angry we won't celebrate the new law.
