Hope to see you back soon Nems and hope you have a lovely evening.

The Forum Family x - Page 2 Hug_438 You're such a sweetie Didge, I know Nems appreciated your comments x

You're right about us being a family, however dysfunctional.  You know what they say, you can pick your friends but you can't pick your family! Ask Ben and Veya and all the original posters on Newsfix, our newest members The Forum Family x - Page 2 Rofl67

No one should feel that they are driven away from the forum, that goes for everyone regardless of political persuasion.  Each and every one of us deserves to be treated respectfully.  I won't be around for a couple of weeks and I hope that by the time I back all our ex posters might be back.  Nems, TTS, Keith, Victor, Tess to name a few  I love you x

You'll never change her mind Lovedust, she is convinced in her own head that I am using you. How, I don't know. Perhaps I'm not supposed to be friends with anyone and she will only be happy if she manages to isolate me. All because I wouldn't post how she wanted me to, so who's the manipulator?

Anyway back to the point at Hand.

Nems you are part of the family here and very much missed and a few individuals not getting along with you should not deter you from coming back to the forum.

Hope you are well and hope to see you on here again soon

You are welcome, Sass.
I refuse to let people tell me what I think, who my friends should be, who I should dispise, who I should vote for and what I should post.
I leave that sort of crap to the extremists and tourettes sufferers on flop.
And that is falling apart because it only has about 6 regular posters left.

let's face it with multi id's, distrust and gang mentality trouble will occur..

debate the post don't ever make it personal and things will be fine...in theory

though you will get people who want to win an argument by claiming who or what the other poster is, while that may be relevant to some topics it may noy be relevant to them all..

you may find you have some common ground with the most unlikely people...

I have always had a fondness for Nems, and once for you Sass. Nems and I have had differences, but always over issues. I think it's a credit to our relationship that we can close the door on differences and be friends on the next thread.

The fault dear Brutus, appears to be in your last sentence: "she would rather drop her principles than offend you and Quill." What you mean is, you appear to perceive this all as some big war. Those of us whom you criticise in this way, don't view the world by the same prism. In fact, it's only when we force ourselves to look through your lenses, that we can even perceive what you mean.

It's all a form of intellectual masturbation on your part, Sassy. Nems and I get along fine.

Er - It was the person who keeps standing up for you Bee, Catman, who was the reason Nems left.

As for your remarks Quill, they are laughable, we come on here to discuss politics.   Something Nems and I absolutely agreed on was the plight of the aboriginal people in Australia and was the reason Bee called her disgusting names and followed her about on Speak ranting at her as he rants at me now.   But she kept quiet about that whenever it was mentioned.   That absolutely shows she would rather drop principles that in any way inflame Bee, which inflames you.  Bee goes around ranting like a mad dog, and you go around casting aspersions that you don't think you every have to answer for.

In Bee's case, I suspect he can't help it.   In yours, you just have an inflated ego.

Roasted new potatoes with olive oil, garlic and herbs
Grilled asparagus with a balsamic glaze and a drop of hollandaise (yes its out of a bottle, yes I could make my own but LIFE IS TOO SHORT)

Fresh strawberries and CUSTARD for puss.

Cass, Safeway has a new steak marinade. Granted, it's packaged, but quite nice.

Often, I don't have the time to do such preparations. It's different if Becky is at home, but she's often gone on location. I used to pride myself on my fabulous creations, but nowadays my ego has been severely bruised.

You'd be surprised how many short-cut recipes are better than you/me anyway nowadays. Lots of slow-cooker recipes. I did a pot roast just day-before-yesterday...lasted two days.

No, I actually told that to Nems.  It was on open thread.  And it was not as severe as that.  I suggested she might explore some of her relationships with father/boys, growing up.  But Nems is also a rape/abuse counselor, and I can understand from her perspective she has some gruesome things to tell.

But you say "told," like it was some surreptitious communication, mogs.  You see how these things get contorted?  Far from reality...

That was a perfect example of how Nems and I can talk frankly, yet go on to the next thread.  I guess you weren't watching afterward, mogs.

So you effectively told everyone.

I spoke to Nems. We (Nems and I) shared the discussion with everyone.

Do you see how your casting is creating a misinterpretation? Forum life would be much better if you and certain others were more candid and open.

I see... In the spirit of candour and openness, would you now care to explain how I'm in bed with smelly and drinky, and how I supposedly "turned" on Bee and yourself "about 10 months ago"?

You lost your union card about 10-months ago when you turned on us, mogi. We don't expect anything from you...except hate.

Speaking of hate...I recall eds had some pretty ugly things to say about Bee on andy's hate thread. But I wouldn't expect you to acknowledge that, mogs. We know you're long gone.

But that's what I was referring to. How can anyone who calls themselves liberal in any way, side with the likes of andy, shady, drinky and smelly??? That's where your eds, stephen and the rest are. You sleep with RWers, you're never to be trusted.

Actually at the time he was absolutely vile to Nems and she was very upset about it. So all that is the biggest load of bull going. He's really good at twisting what happens in his own mind.

You know what?
I suspect all the people that like to keep hold of, re-hash and drum the hell out of old grievances are just really really bored.
