That's awesome, makes me glad I've always been a dog person.
Dogs just have a sense of fun that cats rarely seem to have:

you haven't seen mine then , they have a wonderful personality each and are both very playful and also loving and faithful. The maine coon cross can climb the full height of the wall in the living room , he is very mischievous , at Christmas he climbed the tree and got stuck at the top because he is big being a cross . The little one she tells me when her brother is doing something he shouldn't like climbing the wall lol, she will jump on my lap and jump down as if telling me to follow her , when i do she leads me to where he is up to mischief
They are very intelligent and very beautiful i love them over dogs and have had a few dogs over the years , but prefer cats every time .

Re: Science on Cats
Cats always have the advantage over humans, they take no shit, and don't get bossed around where as dogs will jump to their masters requests.
One of ours has recently taken over our bathroom, and refuses to remove from her recently permanent position, on top of the toilet seat...She sits there, sleeps there....then she moans when you move her off.
That's why we love cats, because they have self motivation!

I don't understand them at all....You can get irritated about them, push them off your lap, when you are trying to type on the net...Then, you forget and they are on your lap for hours! ::D::
