cats
Several weeks ago I posted that my young cat Mitzie had not come home. Several posters here wrote to console me.
My Grandson has just told me that other cats have been taken from our area.
He said they have been thrown to Staffordshire Bull Terriers to be ripped to pieces for the entertainment of brainless scum!
Why the hell did he have to tell me? I can't stop thinking about it now, my poor little cat.

Re: cats
Nicko I am actually sure that hasn't happened to your cat. Not in the least. Most cats are taken in by loving 'cat' people who have fed them and grown fond of them.
I'm pretty sure your Mitzie is snuggled up somewhere without a care in the world.
Don't think about something that hasn't happened ok?

I agree with Eddie Nicko. Your cat is probably being well fed and looked after by someone who loves her.
We had a cat (Sooty) that went missing many years ago...he turned up months later looking well fed and happy.
The only thing we could think of was maybe a shop had taken him in to deal with the mouse problem....which apparently they did in those days.

How awful for you. What vile scum these people are. I've always thought that animal cruelty should hold the same penalties as any other crime of violence. Animals have no voice. And animal cruelty often leads onto other crimes against people. I can't stand stuff like this, and as a pet owner, can truly empathise. I can only offer condolences.

Re: cats
I thank the few who posted condolences to me on the death of my cat.
Some may wonder why the loss of a "mere cat" could cause such pain to me.
Others who love Animals will know !

She may not be dead Nicko. I would rather think she is being looked after somewhere. x

Many years ago I had to arrest a man who killed 9 catz with a butchers knife.
That is all.
Don't you think that's a tad insensitive considering the nature of this thread?

Are you sure it wasn't one cat with nine lives?
