"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced the birth of their baby daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

Harry and Meghan said Lilibet was born on Friday at 11.40am Santa Barbara, California, and is now “settling in at home”.

Lilibet is named after the Queen, her great-grandmother, and her middle name was chosen to honour Diana, Princess of Wales."

I think the fact that his granddad was seriously ill at the time, his grandmother is a 95 year old woman possibly going through one of the worst times of her life, and he was continuously badmouthing the very core of what she stands for.
He then came back for the funeral, and on his return to America carried on talking publicly about how he has no regrets about calling his brother, father, and his family.

Any parent or grandparent would be hurt.....the fact that they are royal just makes it more public.

I think you hit the nail on the head. eds. Really, its royalty, and the obsession that the news media has for stories about them. That's why they are parsing every detail about them, blowing up minor, negligible incidents/occasions into major catastrophes.

If the press would stay out of it, it would be just a clutch of old aunts gossiping about cousin Harry, who married a black woman...'such a mouth that woman has...did you hear what she said...blah, blah, blah...' Rolling Eyes
