He wrote the guidelines.
Then broke them.
Both he and his wife had the virus nad were self isolating. So they droce 260 miles with their 4 year old son for a baby sitter. Presumably the lad needed a toilet break at a service station, where they may have cross infected a host of people.h
Then they went to the grandparents or sister's house (No 10 keeps changing the story to suit the agenda).
Stayed there for a few days, with boris's knowledge.
Number 10 said Cummings was self isolating at home.
Mrs Cummings later said they remained at home, poorly with the virus.

If the Chief Medical Officer in Scotland stepped down, then this idiot needs to have the balls to do the same. He’s not above everybody else.

Absolutely not. I just was reading about him. He should resign too! They cannot be allowed to get away with it.

His actions were indefensible.
As is Johnson's response.
How many did Cummings and his wife infect at the 3 or 4 service station rest breaks ?
If 1 person died as a result of his action, that amounts to manslaughter.
Plenty of mileage in this yet.
Reported to the police.
Cabinet office enquiry.
Cummings days are numbered.
And the longer it continues the more likely Johnson's days are numbered too.

Probably none. It takes prolonged contact with the same people for quite some time. That's why it transfers to family members so well.
Its wny we dont have massive out breaks where I live..

England is so much more cramped than Texas, though.
You can easily social distance in a grocery store as the aisles are very wide. Not so much over here.
You can easily social distance outdoors because hardly anybody walks anywhere. Over here, pre-lockdown at least, it's quite unusual not to pass many people walking to shop, and when you reach the High Streets, it's pretty much jam-packed.
It's not that people in Fort Worth are doing anything better than people in places with high rates of infection. It's just a much more spread-out way of life than exists in most of the cities of the UK and I would suspect in the cities of the rest of Europe as well.
Re: Cummings
Maddog you have no idea of the size of Texas compared to England, do you? Everything here is on top of everything else.
I’ve been to Texas, you really can’t walk anywhere to get anything - which is probably why most of you are unfit and overweight. You drive EVERYWHERE because you have to.
Pushbikes are very popular here as is walking.
You cannot compare the two places at all.

You're right there. Dallas and New Orleans have the most obese men anywhere.
I think we have shown the graphic. All of the British Isles and Ireland would fit inside of Texas.

Gobbledegook and I suggest you need to get out more to see the rest of the country. The only areas crowded are inner cities.
The Uk has only 8% urbanisation
What parts of England have you actually been too?
All you can say is that Texas has more open spaces than England
England has plenty of open spaces
|So you can compare the two places
All you are doing is going off where you locally live

Re: Cummings
If they were both ill and thought they might get so bad they couldn't properly care for a four year old, I would agree with them taking a trip to grandparents, provided they kept away from other people, however if there were other trips to various places for no good reason and even if they kept social distancing, then he is in the wrong and must resign.
I doubt it'll make much difference to others, some people already seem to be utterly selfish and stupid - like the woman from Birmingham who took her children to a west Wales beach and claimed Boris said she could go to the beach and apparently didn't know this West Wales beach was in Wales(which still has not relaxed the lockdown rules) and not in England. She then proclaimed on Facebook or something 'its me, I don't do rules' . People never fail to astound me with their ignorance.

And you have proof of his voting intentions?
In the meantime, the witness gave the police the car registration that the the guy he thought was Cummings getting into.
Strangely, the car turned out to belong to Cummings.
And he couldn't have known that unless he was Cummings neighbour.

That doesnt change the fact that it takes a great deal of contact to transfer the disease.
And I live in a county with 2.1 million people, not 20,000.
I live in the most densely populated area of that county.

For those ill informed about covid being transferred from surfaces.
The Centers for Disease Control updated its guidance earlier this month to emphasize the coronavirus does not spread easily on surfaces, focusing more on human-to-human transmission. And new planning documents from the CDC contain more of its estimates about the transmission of the virus.

All of that depends where you live. Pretty sure Ben lived out in the burbs, and you cant walk anywhere. You have to drive.
Now where I live, people go without cars. Its more like where you live.

You might mention that 50.000 complaints [so far] have been received by Ofcom about Morgans attitude. He got sacked by the Mirror for hacking phones and lying about it. The worst thing he did was make up a story about Soldiers kicking Iraq prisoners in the back of a Lorry , complete with Photo's of some men in Army uniforms doing the kicking, and some on here sticking up for him !

Re: Cummings
Morgan is a bully and is a fraudulent journalist.
I loathe the bloke and his aggressive , pit bull interviews.
He simply talks over any answers politicians try to give.
That all said, he is holding this contemptible government to account in ways that his opposite journalists like Andrew Neill, Laura Kuessberg, Rob Peston, Dan Hodges simply aren't doing.
The best of the bunch seems to be Sky's Beth Rigby, who seems to have kicked the nasty far right wing racist Adam Boulton into touch as lead comentatator.

And that is exactly why I don’t like him. But on this story, he is absolutely right.
I’ll say it again. Cummings and Kinnock or anyone in a position of leadership or authority must be sacked if they won’t resign for having breached the regulations. I’ve had friends who can’t give their loved ones a proper burial or wedding because of this. They have slapped these people in the faces with their disregard and disrespect of the lockdown orders because they seem to think they are special and can do what they want. It’s become a political hot potato because Boris hasn’t got the balls to stand up and say you’re sacked. He is just as much to blame for this fiasco as the ones who broke the rules.

Those kicking up the most fuss about this are Labour, the remainers in the Tory party, and Civil Servants. They C/S want him out because most of them have cushy jobs and Cummings is a danger to them. The Bosses of the Newspapers are mostly remainers so they instruct their Reporters to harass him. They all want him sacked because he is the main man responsible for our exit from the EU, and because of this they hate him. ----more power to his Elbow I say !
