Cummings just appointed Andrew Sabisky as deputy prime minister, following a recruitment drive for 'weird' candidates.
Sabisky is certainly weird.
Claims blacks have a lower IQ than whites and pubescent girls should have compulsory contraception.
Women athletes are similar to paralympians.
He advocates eugenics. (Look it up)
He has a bucket load more bizarre policies, awaiting Prime Minister Cummings approval.
Looks like he is a bit of beserk far right winger.

What is rather telling is the Daily Mail readers, not normally renowned for criticism of things alt-right, appear very worried about Cummings, Sabisky and the apparent lurch to the far side of the right wing. Many are calling this an unelected dictatorship.

I dont doubt you would be considered a "thick white man" by an amazonian tribes man, and wouldnt last 2 days if turfed out in the amazon with just a loin cloth and a pointy stick....

you dont judge the IQ of a dog by asking it to climb a tree (which would imply a dog is inferior intellectually than say a squirrel) nor do you judge the IQ of a human by asking it to fly unaided, which would imply the human is stupider than a sparrow.

IQ tests REQUIRE that they are applied to a consistant population, with similar educational, social and living conditions across ALL subjects, otherwise they prove NOTHING

ALL humans have the same capacity to learn the same things with the same faculty, even to the point that, where you somehow to bring the earliest "modern human" from 20,000 years ago (NOT homo sapiens, but homo sapiens sapiens) as a baby and rear him/her in a modern western setting he/she would perform as well as any present day human of the same type (i.e health education wealth and well being) (since of course they are gentically virtually identical with present humans), apart from some inconsequential and non intelligence related differences(such as being able to drink cows milk, and sickle cell anaemia ....which entered the human genome as a defence against malaria despite its debilitating effects....)

I spent years on the Rutgers University Admissions Committee, and as chairman of the Admission Standards Subcommittee. I received all the studies, all the findings, from all the testers and all the researchers, and what Vic says about squirrels doing well on a squirrel IQ test, and sparrows doing well on a sparrow IQ test, is absolutely true.

An IQ test is no more than a self-fulfilling prophecy...those who are a part of the culture, will do well on measures about the culture. IQ tests are a measure of how WASP the WASP's can be.

Tommy publishes a chart with no title, and no explanation, precisely because he does not want to explain that he stands behind a conclusion that has no foundation.

Tom, they are your questions. In a debate, if someone raises a point, s/he has the obligation of carrying forward and representing that point, providing the evidence.

"All of [our] questions on this thread" have been to challenge your point. We don't carry your water for you. Some have provided substantiation for their side, and some have provided hypotheses. What stands out in this dialectic, is you and your unnamed, unsourced, and unsubstantiated chart of relative IQ's.

Such an unsubstantiated graphic begs for some kind of support. If you cannot, or are unwilling to support it, the vacuum left behind by you is your statement.

Race is irrelevant when it comes to intelligence. Any aesthetic qualities are. The colour of a person's skin, eye contact, hair color, height..none of these things equate to higher or lower intelligence levels.

(Bloomberg) -- An adviser to Boris Johnson quit the British government just a few days into the job after a storm over his claims that white Americans are more intelligent than their black compatriots.

Andrew Sabisky, who was hired to work in Johnson’s Downing Street office last week, said he had joined the government to do “real work” but found himself “in the middle of a giant character assassination.”

“The media hysteria about my old stuff online is mad but I wanted to help HMG (Her Majesty’s Government) not be a distraction,” Sabisky wrote on Twitter. “Accordingly I’ve decided to resign as a contractor.”

A spokeswoman for the prime minister’s office confirmed Sabisky had resigned but declined to comment further.

Sabisky became the focus of intense criticism on Monday, with calls for Johnson to fire him. The row came after a posting on an academic blog in 2014 came to light, in which he said: “You will see a far greater percentage of blacks than whites in the range of IQs 75 or below, at which point we are close to the typical boundary for mild mental retardation.”

Sabisky decided to resign even though Johnson’s spokesman earlier on Monday had refused to condemn his views.

As well as the comments about black Americans, the aide, 27, also posted on Twitter that women’s sport is “more comparable to the Paralympics than it is to men’s,” the Mail on Sunday reported, and in a 2016 interview with Schools Week magazine advocated eugenics - the practice of selective breeding.

The data on average IQ by country is well documented and easy to find...

And what the data shows... Is that East Asian and southeast Asian (Oriental) countries populations score significantly higher (on average) than white European countries populations...

I agree. There are a million reasons why you re-post someone else's creation. That's the importance of explaining it.

But the default of posting something without explanation, is that you endorse it: to re-post is to proclaim and publicize the message. Unless you have some other reason for re-posting--say, you oppose it--then it is paramount that you state your intention.

It is useful, if you want to determine how WASPish a person is for purposes of fitting into a WASP world. To use Vic's analogy, if you want to see how well an individual can fly, give him the sparrow test.

At best, IQ tests determine how you might achieve within a culture. A culture might be a linguistic group, a continent, a country, a state, a county, a city or a town. There are distinctive characteristics associated with regions, no matter how small.

Apropos of this, there was an interesting discussion on TV about this, regarding comparing Trump to Bloomberg. Bloomberg's critic was pointing out that Bloomberg was from New York City, just like Trump. His assumption was that the same culture produced both of them, so Trump's sins could be expected to be found in Bloomberg.

The response was quite interesting, especially to a one-time New Yorker like myself. The opponent said, yes, but Trump was a “borough” New Yorker (Queens), not a Manhattanite like Bloomberg. New York consists of five boroughs, Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island. Implicit in his comment was that a person from Queens could be of an entirely different character and culture as compared to a person from Manhattan.

Back to the point: IQ tests measure how much a person conforms to a prototype culture, and thus how successful s/he will do within that culture. That's all it does.

And these are not timeless abilities. They are not even the same level of human ability. Problem solving', for example, does not express the same level as 'reasoning'; it is practical, and not descriptive. Some say that 'defining' is a limiting factor, that prevents us from using our whole mind. The Native American supposedly has cognitive abilities that extend far beyond our poor power to add or detract.

These are cultural characteristics.

Again, they are culture-bound abilities. Take Einstein, for example...for reasons known only to him, he did not speak until about 4-years of age. Some psychologists argue that this 'shut-out' of the external world allowed him to develop a greater capacity to imagine different concepts, as well as different modes of reasoning, which led to his phenomenal revision of Newtonian physics.

Face it, tom. IQ only looks into the cultural aspects of cognitive ability. How could it do otherwise? You need a culture first, in order to develop the tools employed in IQ tests.

What you want to do is a cross-comparison between races, using a culturally infected IQ test. That test would give an unfair advantage to WASP's, as it asks about the briar patch...and as Br're Rabbit said: I's born and raised in the briar patch!
