Missouri mulls law to require parents to be notified before their kids are taught evolution

Reeks of insecurity in one's beliefs to me:
In what may be the first of its kind, a proposed bill in Missouri would require that parents be notified when evolution is being taught to their children at school. They could then pull them from the class. Critics say the bill would "eviscerate" the teaching of biology.
The bill is being sponsored by State Rep. Rick Brattin (R), and it had its first public hearing on February 13th, 2014. Though many anti-evolution proposals are currently being considered across the United States, this one appears to be the only bill — and perhaps the first — that actually mandates parental notification when evolution is being taught to their children.

They already are and have been for centuries or were you never taught God created everything?

so you don't have a problem with it?
DOH, did not understand a thing did you, the reality is religious crackpots have been teaching creationism for centuries as to how we came into being and for a long time, not allowing this to be questioned, where at least you can question and tests with evolution, sadly your faith does not allow testing of creationism, it is forbidden, being the bases that your faith does not allow for it.
So in science, you can have people form views, challenge and test it, though with your belief, when it is the authority, nobody is allowed to question it.
Can you notice a difference here?
Thus how can creationism be taught as scientific, if you cannot challenge or test it?[/quote]

Brevik was an extremist, not different to millions before him thinking he could interpret his own views on life
The fact is everyone except those clueless like yourself, knows there are different views to many faiths, this is one called islamism, now many people defined it this way and see it is different., that is of course unless you live in a fantasy world of smelly called delusional

i didn't ask for more waffling i asked if you had a problem with children being taught creationism
apparently you don't
that's good to know

Again smelly showing why he is so stupid
Religious belief has been taught as a fact for centuries, though this has changed of late and people see that religion is based on faith, not fact. So whilst we still teach religion as a religious study, and creationism is still taught in this fashion, it is seen as nothing more than faith.
Evolution though is based upon scientific method, based on theory of which you can challenge, creationism is based on faith.
Thus what you ask is that was change creationism out religion and be taught as science, because creationism has already been taught for centuries already based on faith and never science because it was never allowed.
Creationism can be taught as a faith aspect i have no problem with that just as long as it is religion, because it can never be taught as a science, because you are not allowed to question religious dogma, hence why you are very stupid it seems what this debate is about.
You argue over them both being taught, when one has for centuries at the same trying poorly to stifle opposition to it, that is not in any shape or form scientific, because you cannot test it and hence why it can never be taught as science.
As to your previous post, it shows why you live in the made up world of smelly, your association changes dependent on where the source is from

evolution is not based on scientific methodology at all it is not testable, repeatable or observable and its evidence is sketchy at nest and changes when required..

Lets simplify this for the simpleton, I have never had an issue with religion being taught, and creationism has been taught through religious studies.
The point is some religious nut jobs like yourself want creationism to be taught as a science, when how can it be taught as a science, given the reasons provided for you?
So why should creationism be taught as a science?
Take your time

Quite simple, because to religious nut jobs like yourself you cannot challenge it or apply scientific methodology to it

Yes you can, and again it is tested all the time, you choose not to believe because it is not 100% proof yet, though to many it is, where as your imagination on a deity is not testable and cannot be challenged, thus it could never be taught as a science only as a religious study

did it test how it occurred slowly over a great period of time,...ooops not enough fossils
did it test punctuated equilibrium...
did it test the mutations that can change one species in to another..
lol... how can it test what keeps changing, just like hawkins 40 years of science "fact" blown away in a heartbeat...

Hilarious you prove my point again that you cannot even try the same methodology with creationism?
Thank you , showing it cannot be taught as a science
That was ever so easy

What has that got to do with the questions posed by you and smelly on teaching creationism as a science?
You just proved it cannot be done, so you keep to your figment of imaginations, whilst the vast majority of others evolves

evolves it has to evolve to survive because it should have been debunked so long ago yet we still try to teach it, thus it should be a lesson people chose not to take as it is clearly rubbish...
enjoy your evolving religion...lol...
