Nathan Phillips, Omaha, is a Vietnam Veteran who hosts a sacred pipe ceremony at Arlington, was taunted in D.C.

Native Twitter has gone ablaze as a Native American elder singing the AIM Song in Washington DC during the Indigenous Peoples March was ridiculed, taunted and mocked by a group of non-Native youth.

The video, which was posted by YouTube account holder KC NOLAND, was also screen captured and shared on other social media accounts with views shortly gaining tens of thousands of views.

The elder is Nathan Phillips, an Omaha elder who is also a Vietnam Veteran and former director of the Native Youth Alliance. He is also a keeper of a sacred pipe and holds an annual ceremony honoring Native American veterans in the Arlington National Cemetery.

Yes, it is a big area, and there were all kinds of people milling around. The native people weren't near the steps, they were elsewhere. The boys were entitled to stand on the steps if they wanted to - that's where they were all waiting. Why should they walk away? Walk away from what?

He’s a longtime native youth group leader and an activist for water protection on indigenous lands. He is 64, and an an Omaha tribal elder.

Again the kids could have moved anywhere

The Native indians had a permit to march here

Like I say with the kid who stared, he did not seem to act like the others in the eralier clips, with the confrontations with the Black extremists. I already said I am open to his story. Which again avoided much of also went on, but then maybe he was not aware, with him smilling at Phillips

Which shows you have not watched the videos have you Rags. He move between the groups and was I admit facing the kids, but they started to mock him. Those in front of him, which there is no excuse. He was standing there for some time singing his song. He then got surrounded. He then move and was in front of this kid, who was smilling at him.

Its a policy that many native Americans would find very offensive, being as this is their indigeneous land. So when he cried about this and why he fought it was wrong, as he had a view about how it was wrong. You though again mocked him on this

These are clearly some the same kids at two different times of the day. One with thisevent with the woman and one with Nathan Phillips

In one its captured where they are certainly being abusive and shouting to build the wall

Now I am sure a number of those kids on the day are innocent at the Lincoln memorial but its clear as a day a number deserve to be expelled.

The funniest thing here, is when new evidence comes to light on these kids, you down play and make more excuses
