Eddie asked the question to someone in the  other thread, so.... do we see ourselves as others see us? I doubt it somehow.

We all have opinions of others on forums, some peoples opinions about us  seems to be set in stone even before they actually read what we have to say ... others are more open minded and actually listen to what our views are, responding to them and not some preconceived notion of what they think we mean....….either way, we all have our favourite posters (yes we do)

So what is your opinion, which may differ greatly from others, about the varied and interesting posters on this forum?

Do you know Syl that once upon a time I may have had the energy or the belief that doing something new would change things.

But I don’t have that belief anymore and I’m starting to realise that certain posters are just egotistically stupid.

OK....my advice would be to take a step back and let the other mods do a bit of work for a change.....you must have a mod room where you can talk in private, set out some firmer rules as to what is acceptable and that would apply to everyone.

I guess I stand alone in doing this, as again, I do understand people better than most. Its why I do have countless people come to me with their fears and how I help them overcome them. The majority of them being women. I could explain why, but there is little point in doing so, people already have a preconcieved idea and view of people and that is where I am different./

I am willing to do something here and not one person wants to join me and stand up and be counted on this, because to me. Eddie is the very heart and soul of this place. So I am not going to stand by idle and see her feel that she has to leave, when I can do something about that. You can have as many opinions of you like of me. Use me as a beating stick, I welcome it. The mockery by Tommy and Syl says it all (and Syl has the audacity to call me a bully) and just hardens my resolve, because at the end of the day I actually do care.

No, she's said she's exasperated by some of the stuff that goes on here, and she thinks she might be outgrowing the mentality of a lot of people here. Truth be told, she didn't have to outgrow that tribal mentality; she was always above it.

No, she's said she's exasperated by some of the stuff that goes on here, and she thinks she might be outgrowing the mentality of a lot of people here. Truth be told, she didn't have to outgrow that tribal mentality; she was always above it.

I am simply going through a tough time being away from my husband and sometimes the frustration of that, coupled with the fact that he and I occasionally choose to kill each other with it by tearing each other apart, and that this place gets so vile and nasty and yes, like a tribal war zone...well it just makes my very soul, so very tired.

I’m not leaving. This forum is a great place and I like helping to keep it ticking over.

It’s just that sometimes, more and more often, I feel like a lone voice in the wilderness.

I’ve had a crappy couple of days and I’m having to juggle a lot of balls in a little space of time.
