Dear God, everyone knew about this bastard, and nothing was done. These people should be put in chains for even unfurling that flag on our soil and spouting hate. We are too soft, too tolerant and it's biting us in the arse.
The security services were facing difficult questions last night over how at least one of the London Bridge terrorists slipped through the intelligence net.
It emerged that the 27-year-old Muslim extremist known to friends as 'Abz' appeared in a TV documentary last year about British jihadis – and was involved in a filmed altercation with police after an ISIS flag was unfurled in Regent's park, London.
He was caught on camera alongside two notorious preachers who were well known to police and intelligence officials because of their extremist views.
Amid a series of revelations last night, it was claimed that a friend of the Watford-born suspect had reported him to the anti-terror hotline after he became radicalised by watching extremist videos on YouTube.
It was also alleged that police were warned about the suspect radicalising children in a local park two years ago.
And yesterday, a photographer captured a detective carrying secret notes which appeared to suggest a man embroiled in the investigation had been quizzed by police last year.
The suspect, who the Mail has chosen not to name at the request of police, is understood to be one of three men who embarked on a stabbing rampage in London on Saturday night.

Not sure how again here that this could have been prevented, as had he broken the law?
I mean again it seems there is many to monitor and the law requires changing to stop possible extremists.
If there was no indication of an impending attack, I can not see why he would be a prime suspect.
Its easy to say in hindsight after such an attack.
Like I say to just monitor the present 3000 cases, would require 180,000 people.

Don't monitor them, round them up and imprison them.
If anyone there's no room that's bollocks, there are plenty of Army Barracks empty since our Army was cut to the bone.

I think absolutely cutting off their means to publicly spout hate and preach via social media should be sorted out. The minute they take to the streets shouting hate rants and hoping people die then they should be arrested and heavily sentenced or fined, never mind filming them and making documentaries about them.

I already said that in another thread and you and Thorin Jumped on me for being anti British
Obviously there is a gap between monitoring and imprisoning that the British police forces are failing at.
That altercation with the police is enough to arrest him and I bet you he would have resisted which is another crime and atleast got a few weeks behind bars.
British police seem to be waiting to arrest them for a major crime instead of just any crime
Plus when they get reported by a mosques act on it! the mosque isn't doing it lightly and the police cant be accused of racism when acting of information for the guys own community

And how could you detain him on that shouting match?
You could not hence why people fail to understand the law.
There is 23,000 suspects, many with all the same extreme views. To monitor them all would require the manpower of over 1 million people as it takes 60 people round the clock to properly monitor them.
This is what would be needed to be done based on those who hole extreme Islamic beliefs in this country. Its not practical and would be so expensive it would cost a fortune.
The law has to change, and the Police go by intelligence of a threat, not extreme views
