Not tonight Donny--you wet the bed, remember?
First topic message reminder :
We all noticed the hostile looks at the inauguration. Looks like there is something to that.
New York Post wrote:Melania Trump refuses to share a bed with Donald
New York Post
Melania Trump has issued her own executive order: She refuses to share a bed with Donald Trump.
Inside sources have told US Weekly that the 46-year-old Slovenian stunner does not sleep in the same bed with the president even during the rare times when they are in the same city.
“They have separate bedrooms,” one Trump insider told the magazine. “They never spend the night together — ever.”
Added a second insider, “Melania does not keep hidden from everyone around her how miserable she is.”
A third source told the magazine that the couple sleeps in the same room but keeps separate beds, explaining, “It’s very ‘royal’ of them!”
The magazine features the story on its current cover, headlined, “Separate Bedrooms — Behind closed doors Melania and Donald Trump give each other lots of space and continue to live very much apart.”
A rep for Melania strongly denied the separate-bed claim, telling the magazine, “It’s unfortunate that you are going to feature unnamed ‘sources’ that have provided fictional accounts.”
Still, it’s indisputable that the first couple has continued to spend most of their time at least 200 miles apart, with Donald in Washington and Melania remaining with their son, Barron, 11, in the family’s triplex penthouse at Trump Tower in Manhattan.
She keeps the most limited of public schedules as first lady.
“Melania wants as little to do with Donald as possible,” an insider, described as a “family source,” told the magazine.
“She is not interested in Donald, the presidency or anything involving him.”
We all noticed the hostile looks at the inauguration. Looks like there is something to that.

That's a pretty broad and all-ecompassing absolute generalisation there, eddie. With zero real substantiation, and only a relatively small sample to draw on..
Surely the more correct claim should be : "Many powerful people use it." ?

Yes, Raggs told me. My use of his picture was purely by coincidence. I googled images displaying curiosity, and got him.
I like reading about the guy - he always seems to be in trouble for one reason or another. His stock market deals have annoyed some people who dabbled in short selling.

What 'onslaught'? You surely don't mean the tittle tattle you were coming out with.
You said she wouldn't bother to sue any publication because 'celebrities' seldom won this kind if defamation, I produced reports of several celebrities that had sued....and won.
The Point still stands that you repeat gossip and post it as if it were fact.
When you have no answers, it means you lose. The subject is Donald Trump and his cocaine habit. Changing the subject is not an answer. It's an escape.
End of...
The cocaine habit that YOU keep mentioning he has do you mean?
You are a gossip Quill...and a repetitive one at that.

Trump has just set up a SWAT squad to investigate opiate abuse with the bureaucracy within the White House.
Led by his son-in-law.
No doubt he will turn a blind eye to one special coke addict.

Bloody hellfire, I think you got a bit carried away there, eds. And you also say you personally witnessed many people taking it, .... this means that maybe you move (or moved) in the wrong circles! Cocaine/Coke is not an opiate. Opiates are essentially sedatives ie the total opposite.
Cocaine is a strong stimulant, stronger than speed/amphetamine.
The practice of calling most prohibited drugs 'narcotics' is also wrong. 'Narcotic' means it induces sleep. Some drug called narcotics are actually the opposite.
Govt authorities lead the way in using misleading labels. Perhaps everyone (govt's, their advisers and the general public) should adopt the simple route and simply classify drugs according to how dangerous they are ... ie Class A or B or C drugs. And leave chemical classification to real chemists, scientists and allied professions.

Daraprim isn't specifically a drug for AIDS, it's an antiparasitic drug, although it can also be used to prevent or treat Pneumocystis pneumonia which can be found in those with compromised immune systems, including those with HIV/AIDS.

Very much aware they are different , Jules, but they both are classified as Class A drugs. Highly addictive and a tolerence to the effects is acquired over time, requiring ever increasing doses to service the depedency.Jules wrote:Angry Andy wrote:Trump has just set up a SWAT squad to investigate opiate abuse with the bureaucracy within the White House.

I strongly believe Trump is a coke head, but there are no physical indications of opiate abuse ( weight loss, gaunt look).
Having a world leader with his finger on the red nuclear button whose actions and words many suspect are affected by drugs is a real concern. Perhaps he should be randomly tested by a medical team next time he visits Miami.
A doctor can certify a Pilot or ship's captain is unfit to work through drink or drugs, surely there must be a protocol in place for the President?

So perhaps, as this video shows, either Clinton is under some sort of mind control or hypnosis (sound stupid?) or he's on some drugs.
Let's speculate as to what we think. Say what you see.

I have seen this vid before. /\
The first one you posted ...he looks as if he is in a trance, but its been slowed down so maybe he was just day dreaming...its odd though.
The second vid, is the orator trying to say the Clintons are old and past it, maybe they are, but they are both marginally younger than Trump.

I see a make up girl putting make up or powder on his face - nothing unusual about that. He would be expressionless whilst she's doing that - he wouldn't want make up or powder to go adrift - although it is a bit odd that he didn't smile when she'd finished.

Fortunately, it's not about me. I think that conservatives world-wide turn a blind eye to the foibles of minority-President Trump, because after a black president they want desperately to be somehow vindicated by a spokesman of their own ideology. Their ideology is being confirmed, however, it's not a very pretty picture. Trump is who the RW is, what they believe, and the way they behave.

I think ne looks dazed and out of it. And if you zoom in at the end his right eye is staring ahead whilst his left one is wandering off the the left of the screen.
Perhaps it's nothing. But if this were a video of Trump, doing the same thing, he'd be on "cocaine" or something.
That's my point really.
I don't like Trump and I'm not defending him with or without him supposedly abusing cocaine, but let's be fair, we can all find videos of people doing odd things.

Codeine is an opiate and available over the counter in uk without prescription... it metabolises into morphine in the liver... and is regarded as being one of the most widely abused drugs here in uk...

It's pretty mild though in its over-the-counter therapeutic dose, and it's generally mixed with other painkillers, so you wouldn't want to be scoffing those all day.

8mg of codeine per tablet is the maximum over counter available... normally paracetamol based plus the codeine.
The prescription ones are 30mg codeine with same amount of paracetamol.
I have read that there is a way of extracting the codeine... also that drinking pineapple juice with taking tablets maximises effects...
You can also get prescription 30mg codeine on its own without any other combined paracetamol too!

Yes, but you can't get codeine on it's own over the counter. As least the higher strengths you can get via prescription are supervised and monitored by a GP - in theory anyway.
There is apparently a way to extract it, but I don't think it should be encouraged.

Which ones are they?
Not saying I don't believe you... it's just that I had sciatica a couple years ago and before i could get to see a doctor, i tried to get the strongest painkillers I could buy from pharmacy and they said that the best over counter ones they had were 8mg codeine/500mg paracetamol...

I am far better than all the cokeheads you witnessed at those parties, Eddie. You should have reported them to the authorities!
Joking!!
Look, ... each to his own. I know I personally wouldn't touch that shit with a bargepole. I won't judge those who do.
But comparing it to alcohol doesn't wash cos alcohol is far less powerful - that is why you can give it to kids at communion mass and also in European restaurants. In my grandma's day people even gave a drop of rum/brandy to colicky, crying babies. (In fact I think some anticolic pharmacy mixtures contain very weak alcohol, even today .. not too sure. ) personally I ingest very little alcohol btw. I've never had a love affair with alcohol in my life. I just have a little every now and then, on rare occasions. I say this cos I sometimes get the 'drunkeness' jibe thrown at me when people lose arguments and can think of nowt else to say.

This is a pathetic joke. It is not a simple one minute clip, it is a composite clip probably lasting 4 to 5 minutes, containing some selected bits joined side by side repeatedly. The bit with the lady's shadow encroaching on his face is shown at least 3 or 4 times!eddie wrote:So perhaps, as this video shows, either Clinton is under some sort of mind control or hypnosis (sound stupid?) or he's on some drugs.
Let's speculate as to what we think. Say what you see.
Additionally, they took a still clip lasting about 2 seconds and deliberately prolonged it to last 10/15 seconds, making him look as if he's in a trance. Eddie don't forget you can do anything in photoshop nowadays, people can even make a corpse in a coffin 'wink'. You can take any old still photo and animate it with a wink. I know, cos I put a wink in someone's still avvy photo for them, on request.
You can even get the mouth of a person to say things that another mouth is saying which is a very sinister development. Owt's possible.
Even a photoshop novice like me can see it a mile off. The second one is just as crappily pointless, created by a hostile anti-clinton creep. I have contempt for these people who cannot even be bothered to make things look authentic. You can do anything with clips, you can run them backwards to tell a very different story to what really happened, the BBC did this with the queen when she sat for a protrait, and they admitted guilt and had to apologise afterwards. If these two tapes are the best you can present to make a case for cocaine use, then they are both completely vindicated.

It's an article showing they don't sleep in the same bad but for all anyone knows they may fuck on the kitchen table and hang from the bedroom light shades.
I doubt if his 70 yo hip joints are up that sort of malarkey.
I've no idea of the Donald takes cocaine so I won't join in the speculation but he's obviously quite unhinged at times.
MY Gawwd, me and my many typos!!
I'll just write the above 2 sentences again, minus the errors this time.

Bill Clinton is not the president, nor has he been for 16-years. I think his opiate was women, and I've not heard much about use of drugs at his house. That said, his day is over, and if he wants to torch himself, it's of no consequence to me.
It is of consequence if a sitting President wants to coke himself up. I hope the Secret Service surreptitiously takes away the blow-everything-up brief case before he blows lines. Although, from what I've heard about them, they might need some policing themselves.

Yeah everytime this administration criticises Clinton or Obama, journalists should immediately shut them down.
It's Trump in power now. The buck stops with HIM. Keep previous presidents out of the blame game, it won't wash.

It was perfectly legal to buy cocaine and morphine here in uk until about 100 years ago... in fact 'Fortnums and Masons' and 'harrods' used to do a range of 'hampers' for sale...
It is said that Queen Victoria herself had indulgent tastes... said to include even enjoying marijuana...

Not too sure why you have attached your opinion to my post. My original point was that cocaine use should never be made to seem like normal or routine activity. Children could read it. I also said that I don't judge.

Tommy is right, those fancy 'snuff boxes' common in period literature are cocaine holders.
Most of the Laws are because the USA is a world leader in the production of tobacco and alcohol, but not cocaine and marijuana IF they were all legal then Tobacco would be less profitable and South America far richer and more powerful. which would definitely have made Brazil and Mexico etc a threat to the USA's regional dominance 100 years ago. Plus in the case of Alcohol it is the European traditional intoxicant. as mentioned, even used in religious ceremony, notice we ignored the fact that peyote has been used in religious ceremonies for millennia by Native Americans
And Additionally
Alcohol is NOT less powerful, it is very powerful it is just the generations of use and abuse by Europeans have left those of European heritage with a high tolerance. the same is not true in many Asian and indigenous societies where it is not traditionally consumed. one of the most obvious example is Kava similar to alcohol and traditionally used in Polynesia, many Polynesians can consume it in vast quantities of Kava but give them 2 beers and they are wasted and the same in reverse a European decent person (Aussie in my case ) can consume large qualities of alcohol but glass of Kava and it's like consuming a litre of hard spirits.

I used to take Kava to calm down; two small pills and I'd feel like it was probably not a good idea to drive. It's marketed in the U.S. and I'm sure in other English-speaking countries as an herbal sedative.
The thing for me was, though, if I used Kava more than a few days a week, my tolerance built up really quickly. I'm just a very difficult person to get intoxicated

Could you explain that further? You're saying that tolerance to alcohol is some kind of evolutionary issue?
Did you really mean "decent" or "descent"?

Well in that case .... maybe the time has come to outlaw alcohol and legalise the ''less powerful'' cocaine! Let the legislation begin! Can't say fairer than that!
As for the Asian intolerance to alcohol - I've always understood it to be entirely a genetic (not cultural) reason. I was under the impression that some Asians lack an enzyme that processes alcohol.

Yes some Asian lack the enzyme and would have died out in Europe since Alcohol was often the safer to drink than bacteria infested water. In Asia the prevalence of tea meant that it wasn't the case so those lacking the enzyme are still around. an example of Evolution in humans
in traditional south American cultures cocaine was actually treated like we treat caffeine today. given it was not the highly processed stuff that is around now. but it was a common pick me up, the leaves chewed by most people.
Alcohol is more powerful and quite damaging to the human body, more so than marijuana and probably more dangerous for you than natural cocaine.
Have a good day too
