Not tonight Donny--you wet the bed, remember?
First topic message reminder :
We all noticed the hostile looks at the inauguration. Looks like there is something to that.

New York Post
Melania Trump has issued her own executive order: She refuses to share a bed with Donald Trump.
Inside sources have told US Weekly that the 46-year-old Slovenian stunner does not sleep in the same bed with the president even during the rare times when they are in the same city.
“They have separate bedrooms,” one Trump insider told the magazine. “They never spend the night together — ever.”
Added a second insider, “Melania does not keep hidden from everyone around her how miserable she is.”
A third source told the magazine that the couple sleeps in the same room but keeps separate beds, explaining, “It’s very ‘royal’ of them!”
The magazine features the story on its current cover, headlined, “Separate Bedrooms — Behind closed doors Melania and Donald Trump give each other lots of space and continue to live very much apart.”
A rep for Melania strongly denied the separate-bed claim, telling the magazine, “It’s unfortunate that you are going to feature unnamed ‘sources’ that have provided fictional accounts.”
Still, it’s indisputable that the first couple has continued to spend most of their time at least 200 miles apart, with Donald in Washington and Melania remaining with their son, Barron, 11, in the family’s triplex penthouse at Trump Tower in Manhattan.
She keeps the most limited of public schedules as first lady.
“Melania wants as little to do with Donald as possible,” an insider, described as a “family source,” told the magazine.
“She is not interested in Donald, the presidency or anything involving him.”

The thing for me was, though, if I used Kava more than a few days a week, my tolerance built up really quickly. I'm just a very difficult person to get intoxicated
I've not had the pills, I had it 'traditionally brewed' by some Samoan friends. I have no idea what the equivalence in pill volume would be, and didn't have it regularly so not sure about the tolerance build up..
Generally I am also pretty tolerant to intoxicants.

Well in that case .... maybe the time has come to outlaw alcohol and legalise the ''less powerful'' cocaine! Let the legislation begin! Can't say fairer than that!
As for the Asian intolerance to alcohol - I've always understood it to be entirely a genetic (not cultural) reason. I was under the impression that some Asians lack an enzyme that processes alcohol.
Have a good day, Veya!
Yes some Asian lack the enzyme and would have died out in Europe since Alcohol was often the safer to drink than bacteria infested water. In Asia the prevalence of tea meant that it wasn't the case so those lacking the enzyme are still around. an example of Evolution in humans
in traditional south American cultures cocaine was actually treated like we treat caffeine today. given it was not the highly processed stuff that is around now. but it was a common pick me up, the leaves chewed by most people.
Alcohol is more powerful and quite damaging to the human body, more so than marijuana and probably more dangerous for you than natural cocaine.
Have a good day too
T. Y. Veya, I had a good day....... and I'm sure you realise I was being sarky about legalising nasties.
At a posh wedding, I expect to toast the bride & groom with beautiful champagne, served in an elegant glass.
I'd much prefer that, than some waiter offering me some sinister looking powder to sniff but hey, that's just me.
And no, I would not drink it to excess - that would be so common!
