Not sure how our street party will go down tonight, its pouring with rain at the moment  I got a huge joint of pork in the oven anyway to do hot pork rolls with so at least we will be fed even if the BBQ doesn't get lit  Trouble is sitting by the oven door goggle eyed and drooling

Well this is me in for the night now....when others are starting their celebrations I am having a cozy night in with OH...at midnight he does the old tradition of going out the back door and entering the front door with his lump of coal.
He isn't the tall dark handsome stranger anymore....his dark hair has turned grey, he has never been tall, and after 43 years of marriage he isn't a stranger....but the old traditions die hard.

We have spent the afternoon in our favourite bistro in our favourits village with our favourite family members.....so its nice to relax now and know everyone else is going to live it up in style. 

I sincerely do hope everyone here will spend the night exactly as they wish, if anyone is alone....well you are not really, because lots of good wishes are sent your way from me, and I suspect others on here.

So have a good one....see you all next year.

I was up talking to a certain Texan until late last night/early hours of the morning so I'm not going out tonight. I don't like NYE celebrations anyway so I'll be in bed before midnight.
