New Years Resolutions.
Do you make any?
I never have and this year wont be any different.
If people decide to diet or stop drinking/smoking/being a pain in the bum....the majority revert back to the old ways before the Roses chocolates have been finished.

Re: New Years Resolutions.
A friend of mine said don't call them resolutions, call them goals -- that allows for the fact that you're going to slip up from time to time.
My goal, then, is to start and finish a novel (still frustrated that I painted myself into a corner with the Renard story). I'm thinking, paranoid loser gets himself sucked into a feud between drug smugglers and gun smugglers. What do you think?

Sounds good....I always think a book about people posting on forums would be a best seller.
Then the film rites would follow....and some very old decrepit/ugly/obnoxious actors could get the first job they have had in years portraying most of us.
'Goals' sounds better than 'resolutions'...we all need the odd goal in life.

I would not eat a rabbit. They don't even look appetising!

Correct milord.
I usually marinate them 2 at a time overnight in 4 Oxos and Worcester Sauce liquid, the the following day slow electric casserole them with carrots and onions.
The reason I do two is I used to give one to an old geeza friend but he passed away 2 weeks ago.
Dunno if I will bother now, if I do I will only shoot one.
I reckon a rabbit casserole with some spuds is a cracking tasty winter meal, our son will eat it but no one else.
He gets loads of venison which only myself and my old mate ate.
Ah, we love venison in Texas! And in the town I grew up in, Sonora, goat. We had an annual goat barbecue festival, you could smell goat cooking everywhere you went.

Re: New Years Resolutions.
My new Years resolution will be for the first 3 months not to be abusive to anyone on this forum. You may ask why 3 months? Well I have gotten into some bad habbits, more from allowing others to at times bother me, so this is a double incentive, where I aslo have to learn not to react to silliness. As I am sure some will do anything and everything they can to push me into insulting. So I am sure some will say you should not be abusive in the first place, but that is easier said than done as none of us are perfect.
So 3 months it is to start and see how I go on from there.

Re: New Years Resolutions.
Mine is to spend more time painting, especially as my wonderful brother gave me a large voucher for art supplies for my birthday.
The other is to keep on trusting my own instincts, both in recognising manipulative circulatory crap when I see it, as well as trusting my judgement when someone says something that makes me realise they aren't what they said they are.

Okay. I'll start it if you give me a first sentience
I'll give you the first four:
Lando_Kardashian struck a match, held it to the rag stuffed down the neck of a wine bottle filled with gasoline, and then it hit him.
Flame war. But IRL.
It was kind of funny.

I got a colouring book and some coloured pencils off my grandson ....I thought "does he think I'm in my second childhood?"
But No....adult colouring books (this one is the 'Great British bake off' one) were apparently one of the top sellers for Christmas presents in 2015.
