some may be "care assistants" i nursing home or visiting housebound folks
some may be "nursery staff" whos uniforms can look "nurse like"

As Vic said.

I don't think medical nurses who work in hospitals, travel home in their unifirms.

I used to work in a care home for the elderly, well quite a few actually, and I wore those uniforms. I washed mine everyday though as they got horribly grubby sometimes at work.
