More than 150 children "of Martyrs and prisoners" participated in the camp "Jerusalem in the Eyes of the Lion Cubs and Flowers of Palestine" run by the PA's National Security Forces in coordination with Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah's youth movement "the Lion Cubs and Flowers of Palestine."

The camp's closing ceremony, in which the campers paraded and danced in military garb with rifles, was attended by PA and Fatah officials, among them Nablus District Governor Akram Rajoub, Secretary of Fatah's Nablus branch Jihad Ramadan, and representatives of the PA National Security Forces. Using summer camps like this reinforces the PA and Fatah's message to adhere to violence as a means to "liberate Palestine," which Palestinian Media Watch has exposed numerous times.

An article in Al-Asima, a bi-weekly distributed with the official PA daily, likewise promoted this message. In the issue following Israel's Independence Day - what the Palestinians call the Nakba - "the catastrophe," each page of the supplement which dealt with the Nakba showed this image with the text:

"The anniversary of the Nakba - What was taken by force, can only be restored by force."

An article in the supplement used the following terms to refer to Israel:

"the so-called 'Israel'"

"the occupation state"

"the Zionist entity"

After stating that "armies from Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq, together with other Arab fighters and Palestinian fighters (68.000 Jihad fighters) opened an all-out war against the Zionist entity," it denoted the Israelis who defended themselves against this onslaught as "90,000 terrorists."

Adding to the promotion of violence, Fatah last month posted on its Facebook page text mentioning "the weapon with which we will confront our Zionist enemy" together with an image of fighters from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades with rifles and rockets:

Posted text: "We promise that we will meet the enemy with two weapons in our hands - faith in Allah and in the inevitable victory, and the weapon with which we will confront our Zionist enemy. We will defend the honor of this Arab and Islamic nation. #Al_Aqsa_Martyrs'_Brigades"

The following is a longer excerpt of the article mentioned above:

Headline: "67 years and we continue to experience the Nakba (i.e., "the catastrophe," Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) every day."

"On the day following the declaration of the establishment of the occupation state (the so-called 'Israel') [all parentheses in source], armies from Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq, together with other Arab fighters and Palestinian fighters (68.000 Jihad fighters) opened an all-out war against the Zionist entity (90.000 terrorists). Thereafter, the conflict became an international conflict...

The Zionist enemy conquered all of Palestine except the West Bank which was annexed to Jordan, and the Gaza Strip which was annexed to Egypt."

The image appeared on each of the eight pages in the supplement's section on the Nakba.

Quite agree its wrong to show children weaponary and condemn any Israeli's that do.
But Hamas and fatah have camps every year for this, Israel does not.
That was an event, one I freely condemn, but then as seen not once does Irn say he condemns Hamas or Fatah, does every one notice this everytime he posts?

I support didge in his views on Israel 100% i support Israel 100% . We are entitled to support what we want just as anyone else are .

I'm grateful to didge for the effort he puts into finding out true unbiased news on Israel because the media only report on Palestine and i wonder why that is ?
