Police report they are deluged with people telling them about hate crimes linked to Brexit.  People being stopped in the street and told to go home etc (most of them were born here)

Funnily enough, five Polish men jumped two teenage boys on my high street yesterday, and called them "Little English c&nts"

Put yourself into the shoes of a racist Brexit supporter. You hate the immigrants and you were calling to split from the EU, then the public went out and voted for just that.

it is not a reccommendation for one in the EU or UK it is one for people outside wanting to invest where the future will be.

In my opinon all the vote has done is highlighted Britian is the first stripped of wealth a sit has lost the protection fo the herd. the fact your old herd seems set to turn on you as well just makes it even more juicy.

China has already become the largest economy it is contiuing to develop it's internal economy that is now undergoing self perpetuating growth as they bring more and more areas into the post industrial world.

China is also the reason we have zero to fear from some sort of caliphate

DESPITE the best efforts of successive conservative governments to cripple our country, as they pander to the financial markets.      

And,  we have a lot more sunshine than you,  too  !          

the great irony being that for there to manufactoring jobs in the midlands again they need to be Cheaper than the Chinese

So 100USD a month is the average wage the midlands would need to have to attract business to manufactor there.
with out the EU protection and the harsh reality of globalisation about to hit them like a frieght train no one in the world is going to be more cowed and beaten than the Brits that think Manufactoring is going to provide a significant income.

thankful we are an educated nation that has already started transition away for the need of Manufactoring jobs

There's always a market for high end specialised and craftsmen quality, artisan based or custom manufacturing within each region -- but unfortunately, those kinds of businesses only employ 10 people here, 20 people there (note that light industrial and technology parks and estates keep on growing, even during cyclical downturns and recessions..).

At the other end of the manufacturing and processing sector, we're also seeing the bigger, more centralised, heavily mechanised and automated factory sites --  have a look at how many saw mills, food processing factories, furniture businesses and the likes, have set up big shiny new plants, where a leaner and meaner, and more skilled, workforce has replaced what 3 or 4 separate sites were doing previously..

MAYBE Victor will be able to get a government grant, take over a local factory site -- and expand his home-based business to employ 10 or 15 recently unemployed woodworking tradesmen and labourers ?

Isn't the point of democracy to let the people decide on course corrections? I'd have elections every day if I had my way. No more polling -- let's put the will of the people into action, and if they've changed their minds since yesterday, fine! That to me would be a government truly responsive to its people.

If not, then why not just admit it's nothing but a game we're all trying to win, in order to impose what we believe on other people who disagree with us?

Give me a reason the people shouldn't get to weigh in every few months on what direction they want to take their nation in. I'd be stunned to find any good reason.
