Happy Thanksgiving Ya'll
Its almost turkey day and there will be my favorite rolls amongst other foods and I haven't killed my sister yet and The Packers are playing prime time. Hot damn triple score.
Thankful for Mr. C and my boys - although I'm missing them loads - thankful for having a trip with mom to San Fran to see the sister and my gorgeous nephews, my job, my health, family & friends galore, books, pizza, wine, cheese and assorted pork products, and etc...
May this be the start of a wonderful holiday season for you and yours. Let's fill it with love and peace.

Yep, it's like the X Factor for Turkeys, they chose between two turkeys which one will be pardoned. Always thought that was a bit strange.

I find it quite awful to use pics of Turkeys to celebrate Thanksgiving. After all, they don't have much to celebrate do they?

It's the thought that counts.
Anyway...all the 'Happy Thanksgiving' pics I saw had either a turkey or a pumpkin in them.....pumpkins are more Halloween, so turkey it was.

I know they are not the same thing....but that was what was available so I opted for the Turkey pic.
It's alive....probably pardoned, so nothing to fret about.

It upsets me to think of all those murdered turkeys just so that people can stuff their faces to give "thanks" to some unknown entity.

I hate adverts which use the actual animals or chickens to advertise food.
Remember that one where a girl says a dead plucked chicken has "no rhythm"? I hated that one.

I don't think of the turkeys as 'murdered'....but then I eat meat so I wouldn't.
I must admit the thought of those 5 birds in one make me feel sick though....why kill 5 birds when one will do?

No it doesn't.
Why kill 5 birds to make one meal? It's quite disgusting to me.

Why is it more disgusting than killing millions of turkeys just so yanks can get even fatter?

Not only Yanks....we eat plenty turkeys at Christmas too....it's just that our Christmas cards tend to concentrate more on little robins and snow covered houses rather than big fat turkeys.
(I should have opted for the pumpkin card to keep the peace )

I feel the same about the mass murder of turkeys at Christmas too.

I don't eat meat but I don't care if others do too.
People Re vile to eachother in the worst ways possible on this planet, I can't find the time nor energy to worry about turkeys.
On that note....HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL AMERICAN PEOPLE!
