for cats as I do.

As an aside has any one watched the film, The Incredible Journey?
I'v seen it twice and it still makes my eyes wet, the scene at the end when they all come home is most moving.

After what i'v been through I thought I was a hard man, i'm not.

Believe that completely, if you are not happy by yourself you cannot be happy is other things. I have always loved time alone, I simply could not function without it. OH always says I'm the most self sufficient person he has ever met, love him to bits but I'm quite happy when he is off watching footie etc and when he is at work.

Exactly! I meditate in the conservatory in the winter, but in the summer it's got to be outside. While you meditate all the sounds and smells of nature around you come into sharp focus and you feel really alive and connected.

I've sat next to people at conferences - seminars - long Catholic church services - graduations - etc., etc., etc., and they twist/twitch/jerk/shuffle/whisper and just annoy the Beee-Geezers out of me. I can't say that THAT has ever happened any where but at the indoor theater.
