This is part of a six part series and even though made by Christians, am still very much interested to watch.
Want see how good or bad they present what they view as evidence and if it holds up to any validity.
To me they will just further prove he was a man and a great teacher and nothing more.

Hi Brasidas.
If they do find him it will prove nothing. He was a human being with human biological needs and urges, born of a human female who, going on some evidence, was raped by a Roman soldier and claimed it was God. I have no doubt that she schooled him and fed him a load of nonsense when he was little, although he did become a good teacher.

Don't ask me where I read the raping piece, it was a long time ago and I forget where and/or what publication.

Hi Stardesk

By fiunding I think they mean evidence for Jesus, not his body himself, but their belief of a devine Jesus.
It is more probable that his father was Antipater, son of Herod. This fits very well with the view of Herod killing the infants, because Antipater who was executed by Herod, still had by decree by the late Augustus Caesarthat his children would be next in line to be King. By this piont Augustus Caesar had been deified and no degree's he made could be overturned. If he was the son of Antipater, he would have been a threat to Herod and hence the mass killing of children in Bethlehem.
It is of course a hypoetheiss but one that fits with the story of the killings, more than one that Herod would ever be bothered with the news of a King Messiah, when there were countless at the time

Havea a good evening mate, will catch up soon
