Black actress says police handcuffed, detained her on suspicion of prostitution for kissing white boyfriend

An actor who starred in the Oscar-winning movie Django Unchained has claimed she was handcuffed and detained by police officers in Los Angeles who assumed she was a prostitute, because she was kissing her white partner in his car.

Daniele Watts, who is black and who played the slave CoCo in Quentin Tarantino’s acclaimed 2012 film, said she was “humiliated” by the incident, which she said occurred in the Studio City neighbourhood on Thursday.

The Los Angeles police department at first said it had no record of the incident, because no arrest was made. On Sunday a spokeswoman told the Guardian: “We are looking into it and hope to have more information possibly on Monday.”

Watts posted photographs of the encounter on her Facebook page, one highlighting a bloody injury to her wrist she said was caused by handcuffs, another showing the actor in tears, standing next to a low wall with her hands restrained behind her back and an officer questioning her.

The car can't be identified.
The image of the woman isn't clear enough to positively identify her..
The supposed man inside the car definitely can't be identified from those photo's.

IF they wanted to base a prosecution case on those images, the prosecution would also need to have several eye witnesses sworn affidavits to offer in court ?

Utter babble, the evidence is based on not just photo's, but recordings, both video and audio, which the later two have been verified, plus the fact you are now saying there is a matching pair wearing the same clothes, i the same matching car, on a street, also that can be identified?

Who started it?  Couple of white voyeurs, criminally misusing the emergency services line, who obviously don't like a a 'salt & pepper' relationship.

After this astonishing lack of evidence, you retreat your claim to justifying why the cops were called.  But you ignore that this is the very point.  
That point is irrelevant to the claim of racism by the Police. which it seems is your now desperation to cling to, ha ha, so funny. They responded to a call, thus her claim is complete bullshit, she thus played the race card which anyone with any savvy can see, except you it seems

If two white people were sitting in a car talking, there would have been no phone call to 911 whatsoever.  If two black people were sitting in a car talking...well, some people will just call the cops because someone is black, so we can't say.  But a 'salt&pepper' couple...that offends some people to the extent that they perceive a crime, even when there is no crime whatsoever.  Then, when questioned (perhaps by the 911 operator), they make up this story about fornication.
All irrelevant and you are missing the point to the fact the Police were called, you can argue all day long on the merits of whether they were having sex or not or if this person had been in the car, but it matters little to this case, where we know for a fact the Police were called ad rightly investigated, unless you think they should now ignore calls? Thus your counters are nothing but pure deflection and embarrassing at that, seriously, and you claim to be a judge?

The more you say about this situation, the more you fill in the details.  This is, plain and simple, prejudice and bigotry run amuck.  Two people sitting in a vehicle in the valley, fully dressed and minding their own business.  Sprinkle in a bit of salt and pepper, and you have a recipe for the common malaise known as racism.

So now you are resorting to racial quotas?  Ahhh...but they were missing a black.  That's the problem, I see now.

This is ridiculous.  Stick to the facts.  The evidence shows that some ex-parte Alabaman, probably, was offended by seeing a black and a white person together in a nice vehicle.  That can happen in LA, but the Alabaman doesn't have to like it.

That's all we have.  Very common in America.
