Nobody passed them on Victor.

Allowing something that you know or suspect has been hacked to be posted (and stay posted) is a crime.

And anything of a very personal nature could have been in those pms, thank goodness it wasn't, (for example some people have given me their telephone numbers) so there is no paranoia about it.

Well I happen to think that was the object of the exercise Victor.   If the pms has been nasty, or offensive etc, it could have been about them.   But they were so minor, it could only have been to show that pms on this site weren't safe.   In fact, that was BA's point when he started it.   From what I understand the pms were actually to and from HA, so it is possible the HIS computer was hacked and they got them that way, but it certainly wasn't from him passing them on.

for one they would have to be pretty good coders and given the demonstrated inability to implement a simple bit of code on deans part i would definitely discount him ....he isn't that smart

Hi Sassy, I can only speak of my own experience, there is a lot of bad history from the sky days, report button abuse was rife and used as a weapon against posters, we then went to ADO exactly the same shit, even some of the mods were up to no good.

This is the best forum so far, a credit to Ben, Veya and Quill, and yet the flame wars etc etc continue here?,,,,the internet provides a platform, nobody can provide a secure one.

I gave flap a go, and despite several run ins, I've never noticed that I've been hacked, but maybe I have and maybe I haven't?,,,,,can't see why anyone would bother with that crap, sounds a tad far fetched and laced with paranoia to me, perhaps I need to follow these intrigues a little closer, or just treat for them what they are, tittle tattle!

Just to put you completely straight Kaka (as if you didn't know), the pms were from Handy Andy to and from myself and Irn on this site and were posted by Hugh on Inaflap. The fact that Dean allowed them to be posted and didn't take them down is illegal, never mind the fact that they must have been obtained illegally in the first place. So I'm afraid you can twist and turn this all you like, those are the facts of the matter and that is what is being investigated.

Andy swears the PM's are fakes ...Eddie claims they are real.

One fake was created by Andy , just to show it had been done.
