So allowing for DM tone and bias.
This woman was definitely given breast enlargement on the NHS.
If it is true that the local council are funding taxis to take her children to school because she gets anxious on the bus - and she has been working as £1000 a night prostitute, why is she not paying for the taxis herself?
Or even how about a bit of tough love - along the lines of the best way of dealing with anxiety is facing it, and the simple message she has the legal obligation to get her children to school. Get social services involved.
This whole thing is farcical.

Re: This has got to be taking the p***!!!
A Bradford woman has used her £27,000 life savings for a lung operation after becoming a victim of the NHS postcode lottery.
Lisa Brown, 41, was turned down for surgery by a consultant at Bradford Royal Infirmary who ruled it was too high risk.
But after she went private the consultant who performed the surgery at the specialist Royal Brompton Hospital in London said he could have offered her the same treatment on the NHS.
The situation has left Miss Brown’s parents needing to use money from their house sale to pay for a second operation next month, again costing £27,000, to buy her a quality of life amid fears she will not survive three years on the transplant waiting list.

What as in the doctor decided that the because she was not getting her children to school the answer was for someone to pay for private taxis?
I am not arguing that she is having anxiety issues - I am arguing that paying for private taxis is not the solution.

I agree it is not the solution, but what do you suggest alternatively, if she is the only one who cant take them to school?

Find a school in her catchment area?
There must be one nearer, I'm willing to take a bet on it.
I am not understanding something here: are we arguing over the taxis or the breast enlargement on NHS?

Agree, but she will know doubt still argue about having to leave her house facing abuse walking down the road. I am not supporting her, because I think it is a tad over the top, but arguing how she will argue against many such moves to help her

Catchment area? lol
That just doesn't work any more eddie.
Anyway - this story is done, it's happened and our authorities need to learn from it - if they hadn't given that complete little sh1t the surgery in the first place the other stuff wouldn't have happened.

Presumably the school is within walking distance - or there is a school within walking distance. Why is walking not an option?
If the school is not within walking distance then school transport should be laid on - parents do not need to go on school buses.
If the children are not at the closest school then what is the reason and why cannot they be transferred? Is she for some reason living where no other children attend the same school?
The bloody obvious answer is that used by the thousands of other parents with anxiety problems (I know a couple) of getting a friend or neighbour to take the children with their own children.
If for some crazy reason it is necessary for the children to attend a school too far to walk not attended by any other child in the area with public transport the only way to get there then it would cheaper to get a care assistant pick them up and travel with them instead of paying taxis.

Maybe her juggs give her backache when she walks.

Just stated the same to Eddie, she would no doubt argue against walking from also receiving abuse.
This would be a very difficult one to resolve and you cannot go off how others are, as each case will be taken individually Sphinx.

Re: This has got to be taking the p***!!!
Like I said if she argues against walking then pay a care assistant to walk the kids to school - much cheaper.
As I have said in the title this is taking the piss.
I would be bloody tempted to put a child welfare investigation on her - what sort of emotional abuse is she bringing onto her children - wouldnt they be better off without her? (I mean how the hell is her new one going to feel reading about how mum was going to abort them so she could appear on a TV show?)

Should we put an investigator on all those who will feel maybe taking the piss?
Some people do not believe you, though I know you do suffer, but using your logic should you not have an investigator on you at times to ensure your honesty?

Uh I am not saying investigate because she is taking the piss I am saying that the public stories about her which she clearly welcomes indicate that she may be providing an emotionally damaging environment for her children.
If it was me being called on to provide private taxis for children whose mum suffers anxiety because of experiencing public abuse I would first off look at whether the children should be anywhere near an environment where their primary caretaker suffers public abuse.

Well do you think the Mail has now made her even more publicly known and thus adds more to her situation?

Unfortunately that is more than equalled by her own publicity seeking - she has overwhelmingly courted the publicity before now and the decision would have been at the point the suggestion of taxis came into it now the point at which the granting of the taxis became public (incidentally how has it been able to be made public - it is the simplest thing in the world to get publicity protection for children - if I was anxious about abuse from previous publicity I would be making sure I was protected from future publicity - something not right here. It could be the DM reporting - or it could be something else)

Irrelevant, now the Mail will no doubt provide her with far ore ammunition than she had before because they have published a story about her.

Based off a newspaper claim?

Re: This has got to be taking the p***!!!
No based on the mothers claim of anxiety.
If the newspaper reported it correctly there is grounds.
If the paper reported it incorrectly then the mother has not claimed anxiety so no grounds. The people at the relevant council will know if the story is correct or not.

If the people at the council know the story is true then child protection should be considered. Whats so difficult?

Well she seems to manage to walk the streets enough to make £1000 a night as a prostitute.
Lol that was kinda going to be my next point.
This may have been answered but it's late and I'm too tired to read back, but why is Andy saying that catchment areas aren't valid anymore?
Of course they are!

A woman charging that sort of money would not need to walk the streets Eddie, lets face it she will have websites etc, adverts through magazines etc, so I doubt she is walking the streets earning that much. If of course she is.

Well if she is I'm gonna get me that job!
still don't think she was entitled to free breast enlargement - breast reduction is a health issue, back problems etc - but making them bigger?? How she go that for nothing I'll never understand and tbh it's a disgusting waste of NHS money.

Again Eddie, how much truth is there to the story?
If she was getting that much, I fail to see why she could not pay for it herself, or at least have the father of the children help out.
I hate fake boobs myself, but know of some girl mates that have had them done, because of insecurities over their chest size, prefer natural myself..

Natural is always best. I always wonder how these women with big hard boobs are going to look when they get really old.....like a saggy old sack with two hard basketballs in it.
