Who would you say was the best ever football player of all time?...
First topic message reminder :
Be honest now, it's a very tough call, I've a few I would say were astonishing world class players, a good few French guys ...Henry and Lizarazu as well as Luis Figo for Portugal and Kenny Dalglish for Scotland , but I would say...and this is tough as we know what Pele and Socrates and Maradona were made of,but I would say the all time greatest and most gifted player who I have seen play is......
Zinedine Zidane!!!
Absolutely spectacular,Ive never seen anyone else with footwork to match

Wee Ossie's beloved Tottingham Hotspur and Ricky Villas with 'that goal' in the cup final.
Dave Mackay was a legend at Hearts and I was gutted when he was transferred to Spurs. I still remember being at Tynecastle for a European cup tie against Standard Liege and I was standing at the wall and just able to reach over. The ball went out for a thrown in and it came right to me and I had it in my hands. Dave came running over motioning with his hands to throw it to him and said 'quick son' and I threw it and he said 'good lad'. That was my moment and I treasure it to this day in fact I'm welling up here just thinking about it.
We lost the tie though
