'I took communion and instantly felt a fire going from my feet up my legs and my whole body. At the same time, I was overcome by an intense scent of flowers', she said.

"Scientific" methodologies are always open to genuinely new discoveries, findings, observations and possible explanations. BUT then they have to go through the Empirical system of rigourous repeated observations and results, with proofs and evidence being provided to support or reject all posited hypothesis; and with peer revue of results, possible explanations and conclusions.

THE much better and rational position is then to ask yourself just why the fakirs, frauds and conmen refuse to allow their "cures" and claims to be examined by scientific methods..
INSTEAD they themselves push and promote "anti science" attitudes !!! pale

We've learned why it rains, why people get cancer, how plants make food out of sunlight and water. We'll eventually understand how people can go into spontaneous remission, and then nobody will think it's a miracle.

And the God of the gaps will just keep shrinking until it winks out of existence.
