JD's poster of the week...
First topic message reminder :
This week I award it to Eilzel...
He is an open minded lad , yet can spot absurd claims when made, he often demonstrates a good ability to weigh things up and see the pros and cons and is also another who will not take pleasure from the misery of others less well of through no fault of their own..
A wee clap of the hands for Eilzel!!...or a big one( clap that is )

Hi Gerber, we have certainly met before, it is the real me I just pinched myself and it hurt
Les is preparing for his acceptance speech, cleaning his shoes, ironing shirts etc so I am expecting great things from him tomorrow when the press are in attendance. I think therefore you can forget getting your hands on his trophy this week
I am just delighted it has gone from such an acclaimed owner to the present.
Me and Didgereidoo were the keepers of the silverware and both swore over many bottles of Krug that the next keeper must be vetted, JD has invested too much money let alone his time in ensuring the pristine condition of the trophy. He has private audiences with the Queen of the forum to ensure it can be removed from his tower and put in the safe hands of JD choosing. The whole enterprise has been underwritten by Lloyds of London for £ 10 million so please ensure Elijah has his socks ready to hide said trophy....
Wow, now I feel nervous; I'll go buy a new display unit

Absolutely right Irn, Eilzel puts me and some others to shame when it comes down to knowledge of so many subjects...and to think he's only a bair in his mid twenties!

Why don't we do this -- is there a way to donate to the charity online? We could create a new thread with a link where people can donate, and we'll come up with a title as well

I've never donated online before Ben, and usually I donate to Ninewells hospital via a good guy named Charlie Kean, but this time why don't we make it to the Edinburgh sick kids foundation?...
This place deals with so many kids from so many and far afield areas...
If it's ok with everyone else.
Someone else would need to set it up though, im just not PC savvy.

The alternative would be to the Flop forum.
There are a few sick adults there!
But it's a great idea Ben.
Got £8.50 for my e/w 3rd place in the National.
My donation will be on it's way. ::D::
