Trivia
Ques: What is the second largest European country?
Ans: Denmark. Greenland is a politically undifferentiated part of Denmark, and is geographically closer to the mother country than Hawai'i--the 50th state--is to the US. That makes Denmark second only to Russia in size as a European nation.

Re: Trivia
Haha...this will surprise you.
Ques: What is the northern-most state in the US? Alaska.
What is the western-most state in the US? Alaska.
What is the eastern-most state in the US? Alaska.
What is the southern-most state in the US? Hawai'i.
Alaska is of course the northern most. It is also the western-most as the Aleutian Islands reach farther west than any other state. Attu is the westernmost and largest island in the Near Islands group of the Aleutian Islands of Alaska, and the westernmost point of land relative to Alaska, the United States, and North America.
But what fools most folks is, Alaska is also the eastern-most state in the US. The Prime Meridian at 0° longitude and the Antimeridian, at 180° longitude are the conventionally accepted boundaries betweeen east and west, since they divide eastern longitudes from western longitudes. The Aleutian island chain crosses over the Antimeridian, making that part of Alaska farther east than all the rest of North America.
In the eastern hemisphere map, you can see the tiny far Aleutian islands just east of Kamchatka, Russia.

Not at all, Les. Think of all the beers that one will earn you down at the pub. Lol
Although, since former Governor Sarah Palin has said 'you can see Russia from my back yard,' a few more people have caught on to this question. Curse her (yet again).
