A BIG HUGE

Thank you to you all. In sad times you have made me laff when i needed it and let me loose talking about complete crap. Now I am set to leave and have my money ready to pay excess baggage. But before I go....

And now, the end is here
And so I face the final sausage
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll get through customs, and not be held hostage
I've eaten a life that's very full
I visited each and every cafe
And more, much more than this, I ate it my way

Scones, I've had a few
Cheese & Plain with Jam, but then too many to mention
I ate what I had to eat and saw it through without exception
I ate each multi course, each careful step along the menu
And more, much more than this, I ate it my way

Yes, there were chips, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and DID NOT spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall and ate it my way

I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've had my fill, my share of bacon
And now, as tears subside, I find it all has been taken
To think I ate all that
And may I say, not in a shy way,
"Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I ate it my way"

For what is a gourmand, what has she got?
If not Quavers, then she has naught
To eat the things she truly needs, health warnings not she heeds
The record shows I took the blows and ate it my way!

Ok finished packing. It was very fraught. Have managed to borrow one of mum's little suitcases which will be my carry on. Excuse me french - ITS FECKIN HEAVY - as well as the normal suitcase but it should JUST be under 50 lbs. Bloody hell they had better damn well appreciate me carting all that crap back for them. The crumpets are essentials - fruit and wine gums and steak and bloody kidney pies are not.

Yes I'm back on terra firms in body....the brain on the other hand is only just getting into this solar system ....I hope by Friday to be back on earth.

Guess what? I just helped the mother to buy a house here....not bad considering I got home about 11pm Friday night, saw 6 houses in Sunday afternoon and had to start back at work yesterday.....we wont talk about the 800 emails I had to plow through.

So as well as jet lag I am suffering from severe pork withdrawal as well as homicidal tendencies against the sister who has been a complete bitch over this house....I understand her concerns about moving fast but you know what? The mother is a grown up and knows what she wants so feck off and lets be happy for her and help make it go smoothly.

Off to bed as my eyes are weary and if I drank the barrell of wine that I want so badly it would end up not being pretty.

^ftl- yes I did manage to get it all in - they even let me off the excess baggage charge! I admit the popularity points went thru the roof after I pulled out the goodies....I have been good myself and only eaten 1 pack of crumpets so far.....the pork withdrawal has been UGLY.

Tomorrow house inspections for mums new house - hope to have her here by June if all goes well with probate in Uk.
