Dallas Parkland Hospital closes Covid unit.

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Parkland Hospital in Dallas shared word of a hopeful sign of how far we’ve come in the COVID-19 pandemic.
The hospital closed its coronavirus units on Tuesday, March 23.
The units were sealed off and isolated from the rest of the hospital in March 2020 to keep the highly contagious patients away from the rest of the hospital population.
Parkland Hospital said it is still treating COVID-19 patients, but they were able to close the special coronavirus-only units, or tactical care units (TCU), due to falling case counts.

They were busting at the seams 2 months ago. Vaccines and herd immunity works.

Get a Democratic president in office, things start working again. This has been a pattern going back to Nixon, who successfully prolonged the Vietnam war. Misery accompanies Republicans; salvation comes with Democrats.

I'm glad we agree, Red. It's stunning, the record of ruinous policies that have been created by Republicans. When elected, Democrats have to spend the first half of their term cleaning up after the pigs.

But yes, once again, we have a Democrat spending the first half of his term cleaning up after the fook-ups of the Republicans.
